You recently sent me an edit for Robert to change his middle initial from I to J and I declined it because I find just as many reference to him using the I as I do using the J so I put a note in the bio.
Also I've found 3 different sets of parents for him. Are you related?

I have the same photo you posted for John F Dunn's record. Are you descended from him? I am descended from his sister Ellen C Dunn.
Would love to share any info with you.

Thank you for this interesting tidbit. Would you have a copy of the probate record that you mentioned in which James's widow Martha listed her husband's surviving siblings? Is it online?

FYI--obits are no longer permitted for copyright reasons (see the current FAQ)--but as this one is before 1923, it's in the public domain, and I have allowed it. But an admin could choose otherwise down the road per current rules. You may wish to provide an extracted(re-written) version as the bio, with the name, location and date of the paper at the end. That's acceptable under the current rules.

|Paul Sowders||George W. Rulason|
My name is Paul Sowders.
I see that George Rulason was married the first time in Jun 1918. His first wife was Minerva Sowders. I see on this site that George Rulason had no children from his first marriage with Minerva Sowders. But, according to the 1920 census, George W. Rulason and Minerva Sowders had a son, born 15FEB1918. His name was Edward Rulason. By the 1930 census, his name was listed as Edward Sowders. Edward R. Sowders was my father, and if George W. Rulason was HIS father, then that would make George W. Rulason my paternal grandfather. If that is the case, my last name would have been Rulason, instead of Sowders.
I am looking for information on that side of the family. I see now what happened to George W. Rulason, but Minerva Sowders Rulason (who had been re-married herself, I believe, to someone named Arthur Dupree) had dropped off the map before the 1930 census. Information on my paternal relatives is relatively weak and I would like to learn more, if possible.
My email address is email@example.com

|Robert Yarrington||RE: Downing Cemetery Lot Numbers|
I added two memorials to the Farnsworth family, Harry and Edna. It's possible that they are the same children that are listed as infants. If anyone finds that to be the case I will gladly delete the memorials I created.

|Stardust||Clara Bell (Alvord) Barth|
I am trying to resolve a mystery, maybe you may be able to help. Buried in Riverside Cemetery, Denver, Colorado, directly next to Clara Bell (Alvord) Barth, memorial #35247201, is Fredrick "Fred" Schenk, memorial #75110511. In the 1880 Census living in the Wm Barth household, his name was spelled Schank, other variations, Schenk, Schenck. Wm Barth provided a place for him in the Barth family plot at Riverside Cemetery. Do you happen to know of any family relation with the Alvord family to this individual?

|Jan Franco||RE: Bridget/Bridgett|
I didn't see any Cannavan or Clancy stones. The Hale reference is 227-2 St. Lawrence Cemetery, page 215. They spell her name as Bridgett. I took several other photos which I will send you this evening if you give me your email. That will give you another representation of the plot. It's a huge cemetery and it took awhile for me to orient myself, but once I did it was extremely interesting.

Do you happen to have any further information on the family of Norman Penoyer? I can't seem to find any siblings or parents and I'm hoping you might know something to help me with my research.

You're quite welcome! I had to dig her stone out of some thick grass, so I don't know if there is family near her. :( sorry for that, but glad to have helped in some small way!

I did not link either wife, so it is out of my control. You might try putting the marriage year inside the wife's link. There is a place for it under the wife's number. If that does not work, you might have to contact the other wife's owner and ask him to add that wife's marriage year also. That should solve the problem.
Thanks for the "heads up" on it.

|gary clark||Pearl Patterson Farnsworth|
Hi my name is Gary Clark. Pearl was my grandmother's first cousin. I have at least three letters they exchanged. The photo of Pearl, looks so much like my grandmother, that we thought one of our photos of Pearl was my grandmother. Is there any chance that you could send me copies of the photos of Pearl and Charles that you have.I would really appreciate it.

I deleted my Grant Farnsworth and transferred to you the remaining family members since you can add to them and I am unrelated. I don't know how to delete a memorial that has been assigned to someone else.

|Onlyarethusa||Michigan Huntley Family|
I'm researching the Huntley family of Lapeer county, Michigan as it relates to my Ruby family. Mortimore Huntley, buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Bay City, Michigan, was married to one of your Farnsworths; Melissa.
Mortimore was the son of Unknown Huntley (my name for him because I can't find his first name) and Lucy Ruby. Lucy is my line. I would be interested in any information you may have on the Huntley family of Lapeer county.

I'm not sure if those 2 stones are near each other, as another volunteer submitted the photos. It does sound like both stones are for the same person. If you can find out for sure, I'll gladly combine the two memorials. I'll also gladly transfer both to you if you'd like.
