Virtual Flowers
Thank you for taking the time to leave virtual flowers on my mothers page. I think that's what happened, I'm returning to this site after many, many years away. I too went around to the old cemeterys to clean old tombstones with a soft brush just enough to make out the persons info, and I hope I will be able to be a photo contributor so that others may see their loved ones headstones.

Hugh McKinnel.
Hi Diana,

I saw that you left flowers for the memorial page for Hugh McKinnel (1820-1873). Hugh McKinnel was my 3rd great grandfather. I was wondering how you are connected to him? If you are interested in exchanging genealogical information, please contact me directly at tary23@yahoo.com.

Best Regards,

MacKinnell

My Family
As a young girl my grandmother and mother would take me to this cemetery and tell me the family tales and how this cemetery come to sit in the middle of the apartment complex. The national historical society once put a revolutionary soldier at the base on the gravestone and someone stole it. Please do not think that this cemetery and family are forgotten because they are not. I am currently working with the historical society to see what can be done to restore this once magnificent place.

Hi, Im wondering if you are descended from Andrew Rose and if you have done DNA testing.
I think his brother Robert C is really named Robert Crockett. DNA testing might finally tell me the answer...
Just curious..

Grave marker
Diana do you know if there is a grave marker for Ida and Rita Bernadine the baby? I was at the cemetery March 2014 and couldn't find one. Is there a church that keeps the records and could tell me where they are buried?

Diana, how do you know Ida Maher? She is my great grandmother. I don't know her children' names other than my grandfather and one of his sisters. Maybe we could talk and enlighten each other.

John Andrew Sandberg
Dear John has been mentioned in my husband's family over all these many years. We have met his loving family of four children, and their descendants that our scattered from Canada to California to New Mexico. His brave wife, came back to North Dakota to raise her children and she made sure they all had an education. F Adela is probably buried in Valley City, North Dakota. God Bless the People who honor his grave in the Nordhoff Cemetery, Ojai, California.
Incidentally, John and Adela came to CA.,with their children, bought an orange grove in the area, and was praying that the sunshine would cure his TB. John died within a few years of arriving from North Dakota. A family genealogy buff.
