John B
Find A Grave Memorials 22506184 & 22981089
Hi BjJ:

I wish you and your family the best for the new year.

I added a new tombstone picture to Johnette Marie Mueller and Ledo Verardi memorials # 22506184 and 22981089 respectfully. If you would be so kind to remove your old tombstone pictures, then I can add more pictures. I already added their marriage license :)

Johnette & Ledo did not have any children. All that remains of Johnette & Ledo is our family's memory, tombstone, and Find A Grave memorials.

Thank your for your continued support as I improve my family's memorials.

Re: Leon Ruwe grave
The grave location for Leon was given to me by the cemetery office. It is possible he does not have a marker since he died last August.

RE: Joseph Zeigler
Thank you for your speedy reply.

The common ancestor seems to be the Joseph you located in the Civil War rolls and Annie Zeigler Royer, both of Waynesboro, PA during the same era. They are probably brother and sister, making the man in the photograph a nephew or grandnephew. My elderly cousin descends from Annie.

I try to document all facts on the memorials, because there is already too much bad information on the internet. However, with your permission, I will leave the portrait posted as we can reasonably conclude this is the correct person (partly concluded because Williamsville had a small population in 1901 with only one Joseph Zeigler .) At least the image will be preserved.

Thanks for your time.

Corrine May Turner
Thank you so much for adding the bio for Corrine.
I have found her in the interment records of Oak Ridge and that she is buried with grandparents, William T. and Reaka Turner.

I believe the bio and interment records have confirmed that my Carrie May was actually Corrine May!

Thank you!

Joseph Zeigler
Re: Joseph Zeigler, memorial 29831198

Hello,

I am wondering if you can help me identify a photo. You'll see on this memorial I've place a photo captioned "Joe Zeigler, January 1, 1901, Williamsville IL." Other than that information I have no way to confirm the identity. That is all that is written on the back.

The original is in quite poor condition and is in the possession of an elderly cousin in Virginia, who descends from Zeigler line from Franklin County, PA.

The only other information I can add is that the photo was taken at a studio in Dallas Center, Iowa.

Of course I will delete the image at your request. I simply wondered if you could offer any insight on the matter.

Thanks,

Eddie

You are correct! Sorry to bother you - that family is the most convoluted I've run into in my research of men of the 17th NYLA.

JFINK
Hattie & Marjorie Honaker
Thank you for the information on these two. I placed Hattie with her first husband since I couldn't find anything on David Loyd. They were living in Springfield in the 1950s and then spent some time in Chicago but the trail went cold until I found her SSDI record for Bath. She must have been living with her son William. I added a few brief notes where the dates for both Hattie & Marjorie don't match the records that I found for them and I accepted your edits to reflect the dates of the headstone. Thank you for taking and adding the headstone photo as well. And I noticed you took Dale's veteran headstone photo too. I really appreciate all of your help and hard work.

If you find any mention of David P. Loyd, Richard Campbell or Allen Fugate, I would surely be grateful for any information. It looks like Allen may have moved off to Washington state and since I don't have a approximate birth year for him, it would be hard to locate him, especially if he didn't stay there. I am absolutely clueless on the other two. Thank you again!! Jamie

Thank you for going the extra mile to find her maiden name and obit. Her parents' obits both placed her in Charleston, SC, and I thought I'd never find her. I'm not related, just rounding up the children of these parents...wish you had the others!
