|Diana Derry||Clarence Pate|
My husbands mother is the daughter of Clarence Pate and Joyce Ilene Van Hyning. He was told his grandfather Clarence was adopted? I have looked to try to find this out and seems nobody in the family knows much about it. I am wondering if you might know how we can go about finding out about it.

|Alice Baker||Laura Tubbs Myrtle Hill Cemetery,|
Dear Amy, Thank you so much for the photo of my ancestor Laura Heath Tubbs grave stone. Something is incorrect however as she is listed on the 1850 census which was taken in Aug 1850 and the stone says she died in June 1850? Wonder what happened could the stone could have been incorrect? Alice

|Ellen K.S.T.||Thank you!|
Thank you, Amy Elizabeth, for putting my grandparents on here! I am Eleanor Gertrude Weinland Sherman's granddaughter... How cool to see Grandmother on here... She died when I was 9; I was named after her.
I don't ever get up to Cleveland anymore (I live in FL); the last time I visited her was in 1990. I loved seeing her and Grandad on here...

|Beth Martin||Froelich Family|
Hello, I'm not sure if you are related to the Froelich family or not, but I noticed you maintain a lot of their memorials. I found Louis William Froelich brother of August Fred Froelich, Find A Grave Memorial# 144168394. He was buried at Crown Hill Cemetery between August and his wife Thelma. Louis's memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 161018743 and I have added links to his parents and wife. (As well as grave marker photos for him, his brother and his wife). Please let me know if you are related and I will transfer the memorial.

Hi Amy - Nancy Ella (Jaquith) Van Hyning's father, William Henry Jaquith, was the brother to my great-great grandmother, Abigail Rebecca (Jaquith) Brockway. William & Abigail's father, Josiah Jaquith, had a store of some type, on the square in Sharon Center. Josiah died in the summer of 1842, leaving a wife & 3 children. If you're interested in exchanging information, my email is LDickin628@aol.com

|Karen K||Van Hyning memorials|
The original memorials are listed in the wrong cemetery. The Van Hynings are in Pitman Chapel Cemetery. The one Find A Grave has listed as Pitman Cemetery is really Pitman Family Cemetery. (see sign in cem. photo and look up Pitman Chapel Cem.) I've tried for some time to get them to straighten this mess out, sent admin emails, etc., but nothing ever happens. The two cemeteries are pretty close together, but are NOT the same thing. The Pitman Family Cemetery just has the Pitman family and relatives in it. I think the lady that created these just copied from some transcriptions and didn't understand they are two different cemeteries. She put all the people in Pitman Chapel Cem. into the Pitman Family Cem., along with the ones that belong there. I've messaged her and emailed admin, and sent edits, but nothing ever gets changed. I live only a few miles from these cemeteries, know them well. At least my duplicate put them into the right cemetery. I'm not going to put a picture on one in the wrong cemetery. Maybe you have some ideas on how we can get this all fixed. I hope!

|searcher||Thomas & Margaret Lewis|
Thank you for photographing and uploading the photo of the headstone of Thomas & Margaret Lewis (#132953143 & #132817846). They were my great grandparents, and died before my father was 4 years old. It is comforting to see their memorial is still attractive.

Find a Grave Community Day - Forwarded to you From CypressGreen:
I follow them on FB and for Find A Grave Community Day some people will be going to Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio and others across the US to meet and photograph!
The idea is to get as many gravers as possible in the US (or abroad!) to fill outstanding photo requests, take photos for new entries, and meet others in their area.
I have you on my 'friends list' as a Cleveland area peep, so I wanted you to know. There are already 3 of us signed up.
