Find A Grave Memorial# 2567123
Hi Susan,

Your Find A Grave Memorial# 2567123 for Lieut Jeremiah Lockwood indicates the following:

He was married twice.

First to Hannah and together they had 4 children. Their daughter, Emily was married to my distant cousin, Harvey Hubbert

Upon Hannah's death, Jeremiah married Mary Ann Manwarring. He and Mary Ann had 4 children.

Harvey Hubbert is my 2nd Cousin 3 times removed, and I am only starting to research Harvey and his wife Emily.

I may be completely off the trolley, but I've found evidence that Hannah Bachelder/Batchelder married Jeremiah Lockwood and then married Abraham D. Kline, Sr. on 28 Jun 1877 in Langworthy, Jones, Iowa:

Iowa, County Marriages, 1838-1934
Name: A. D. Sr. Kline
Event Type: Marriage
Event Date: 28 Jun 1877
Event Place: Langworthy, Jones, Iowa, United States
Spouse's Name: Hannah Batchelder
Reference ID: 589

GS Film Number: 1255526 , Digital Folder Number: 004311220

07/04/2014 Source: "Iowa, County Marriages, 1838-1934," index, FamilySearch ( : accessed 04 Jul 2014), A. D. Sr. Kline and Hannah Batchelder, 28 Jun 1877; citing Langworthy, Jones, Iowa, United States; FHL microfilm 1255526.

Hannah and Abraham and Emma/Emily appear on the 1880 U.S. Federal Census:

Iowa > Jones > Monticello > 325
Line: 4-9

Kline, Abra. D., 71, b. abt 1809 VA, father b. GER, mother b. GER, farmer
Kline, Hannah, 46, b. abt 1834 NH, father b. NH, mother b. NH, keeping house
Lockwood, Emma, step-daughter, 20, b. abt 1860 IA, father b. IN, mother b. NH, dress maker
Lockwood, Anna, step-daughter, 18, b. abt 1862 IA, father b. IN, mother b. NH, dress maker

If this is misinformation, would you please point me in the right direction?

Thank you,

Eileen Thomas

Spelling correction
When you have a moment you might care to correct the maiden surname spelling for Memorial #40024065 to that shown on the headstone.

I just realized this morning that I had these Photos on another Site. On the side of Issac's Stone there is an Albert Boyd, his wife Alice Barr and their Children Mabel, Nellie and G. Franklin. If you want to make Memorials for them I have a Photo. These Photo's are of poor quality and I apologise.

I'm not satisfied with photo quality & didn't want to post it as a fulfilled request in case somebody else can do better - there are other volunteers who've done photography in that cemetery. (I'll post it with note if you really want it there.)

Stephen Boucher
Hi Susan -

Sorry to bother you - and this may seem weird - but did you know Stephen Hartland Boucher? That is the name of my biological father. My father was from Wilmington, Delaware. He and my mother met the summer of 1967. They were not married and I never got to meet him or any members of his family. All I have ever seen is a yearbook picture of him. My mother did put his last name on my birth certificate.

Stephen Hartland Boucher is such an unusual name, that I'm sure it must be the correct one. And the birth year is spot on.

Thanks so much.
