I saw a memorial 46905592 and see that it has "Virtual" Does that mean there is no headstone for a cousin of mine, Joseph? Do you know how I can find more history of Joseph and if he was a war Vet? My trail ended on ancestry.com and a cousin of mine and I were trying to find how Joseph died. Joseph's son is 94 and went back to Ireland with his mother to live there not long after they arrived in Vancouver in 1924. Joseph remained and his son is hoping to find how his father, Joseph died and just more about him. Thanks for any suggestions. Tanya W

I calculated his date of birth from the info provided on the tombstone:
John R. - died Aug. 15, 1856, aged 1 yr, 8 mo & 15 dys.
Which calculates out to be November 30, 1854.
My PAF computer program will does the calculation.
Hope this helps.

|Chris Kanaan||Alameda requests for Beach family|
Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that I scoured the cemetery today looking for your requests and I wasn't successful. I can't attest 100% they are not there, but my speculation is that some plots have not been recovered from recent years flooding, as it seemed many were restored and there were large gaps between some plots. Perhaps you can contact the Town Administrator to verify whether they are listed on the records. Good luck!

I will go there once the weather improves. There are mix ups in the Provincial records regarding Fraser and Saint Peter's cemetery. I can go to the Fraser cemetery office, which is on site, to get the locations for Fraser. The e-mail contact for Saint Peter's did not reply to me. Also I don't have a detailed map for Saint Peter's.

Just death record and census records and tombstone, i.e., "inferred" date. If you don't feel comfortable with that, then please don't use it.
I was wondering if you were able to find his wife, Elizabeth Mary (Thompson) Rutledge in Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery. She died in 1/25/1890 in Toronto Township, Peel County, Ontario, but I have no place of burial for her at this time.
Do you live in Ontario, or have access to Peel County cemetery transcriptions? For me, I have to travel quite far to get transcriptions, as I live in west Michigan. I will try to find her at some point.
Oh, and I forgot to add Fermanaugh County in Northern Ireland, to his place of birth.
I am in the process right now of trying to link his known (burial known) children to him right now.

You do such a good job and I have messed up!
I am so sorry.
This afternoon I put the Wrong Number for Margaret McCallum-Shortreed's Mom.
It should be # 120535713 Susannah Menzies-McCallum, wife of Duncan McCallum.
The one I sited was her aunt and not her father's wife, although I think she was named after her.
Could you please change that record in the Aberdeen Cemetery records for Margaret McCallum-Shortreed..
And thank you so much for all you do and have done.

Regarding your photo request. Kathryn's grave is unmarked. The cemetery index indicates that she shares a plot with Donald Bernard Hebert (brother?) and Mary Kaszonyi. At the site only Donald has a marker for which I have uploaded a photo to his memorial page, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=112188763&df. I have a wider angle photo that I can send to you by email if you wish.

Hi Susan, I have a 1907 family photo that supposedly shows Frances Elliott Ross as child. The records I found say she married Joseph Benjamin Ross (also labeled in the pic) in 1904, so might be misidentified. Pls email me and I will send you the photo. Would like to properly identify the Ross/Leslie/Elliott persons in the photo.
