I just wanted to let you know, I wrote to the Cemetery as you requested for the location of her plot. Besides the location of her plot which I've added to her Memorial page, I also learned the following:

"With regard to the marker on the site, we had one of our field staff check the location and no marker presently exists. In short, there is no need to send the Find A Grave volunteer to the site at this point."

Thanks, Susan!!

I added it for you, My son used this cemetery as an eagle scout project. We have made this site available to anyone who wants to take what they want. It is their family history Why would we not share what we have found for them? You have my permission to take what you want.

Walter Cowling
Susan. Thanks for your response to my photo request. I did an online look at Mountain view cemetery interment list and there is a Walter Cowling on there only its not my uncle. His death registration lists his burial place as Mountain View, but thinking back now over the years, driving through burnaby I think I can recall my dad saying his brother was buried there. So I have an email into Forest Lawn to see if they have him listed there. Thanks again for your input. Jim

Maurice Family
Hello Susan,

I have been researching my family tree for many years, I have had great difficulty in tracking my Canadian cousins.

Are you by any chance related to Joseph F.Maurice
married to my late mothers sister?
her name was Lillian Gladys Wilding, she married Joseph F Maurice in Wolverhampton Staffs England
in 1942?

My mothers name was Elizabeth Beatrice Wilding.
Lillian along with her sisters went to Canada to live, My branch of the family came to Australia.

Thank you

Thank you very much for taking this photo. Someone gave me the memorial because of my last name of Rodee, but I have no idea how he is connected yet. The photo will definitely help in the process!

Thank you for the image of this man's headstone. He was married to my great grandmother in later life. It was good to see his resting place and I can add the image to ancestry. Com. Thanks for your hard work!
