RE: Hello Cousin . . .
Yes, still around, just busy with work, kids and grandkids, and haven't had much time to myself lately. I'll be sure to get in touch with Coralie!

Looking for Father in Law
Hi guys

I was wondering if any one out there could help me track down family members.

My partners father is Canadian , all we know is his name
First Name:ROBERT
And his Date of Birth 21/12/1941(unsure)

All we want to know, is ... Has he passed? Or he is still alive?
And if there's any children to his first marriage, we would like to make contact ..

Thank you for your time.

Did you by any chance transfer the Canfields buried near you to me? There were 4 of them.

A duplicate record
I've just noticed that you have two separate records for a single individual, Douglas Frederick Lipsett (1944-1947).

RE: Cemetery Photo Restriction
No request. I just happened to notice the notation under the cemetery photo that said no other cemetery photos were allowed. Don't know what it's about. No worries. I'll try to figure it out. Thanks, Susan.

Thanks for that, Susan. I notice it was on his wife's cemetery photo, also. I'll investigate. :-)

Cemetery Photo Restriction
Hi Susan,

Just noticed on Wm T Farrell #26251790, you have added a restriction against cemetery photos and wondering why. If it's in error, can you change it? For some reason, I can't, even though I'm manager. Hm-mm Sharon

Gary Bell
Christopher Rutledge
Hi SusanR:
I just submitted a birth date for Christopher, my great, great grandfather on my mother's side. The date came from Mary E. Manning's booklet "Christopher Rutledge and Elizabeth Thompson" (1988). This should be available in larger public libraries. I have the George Albert Rutledge family photo with their nine adult children, a very tidy group!

RE: adding to FamailySearch
Ok, I will not use the photos. After adding Anton I found that a lot of this family is already on FamilySearch but I was not able to find the Find A Grave references for the graves in Finland

adding to FamailySearch
Hello Susan, I hope it is OK with you but I came across this family - very distantly related through Snabb, Flodin, Samuel(s)and MacRae - so I am adding the photos and details from these graves to FamilySearch. Thanks to you and everyone else who have created this memorial

Dennis McCargar
Phoebe in Mazomanie
Just found your bit at FindaGrave for Phoebe,
and the photo of a marker-less plot, which
explains our failure to find it on a weekend
without access to the Cem office. That answers my
question. As for yours, Sarah was an unmarried
daughter, 2d child of Phoebe & Tom, and I have
her death at Mazomanie, as well, but no record
at that Cem, per FindaGrave, just your note. I suspect that she lived at home, more or less a caregiver for her mother, and that they removed to WI, following a married daughter, probably Phoebe (McCargar) Finlayson, which couple went on to NE, probably after Phoebe & Sarah passed on. I would guess that the two of them, mother & daughter, lived with the Finlaysons at Mazomanie, which for some reason had become a sort of stopping off place or staging area, for the many McCargar descendants who were emigrating to the USA, and who moved on to ND, NE, IA, and points west, including CA. Four of Phoebe's brood wound up in NE, where they died: Phoebe in Aurora, Henry in Crete, David in Grand Island, and Tyrus in Ansley, and at least 3 of them can be placed at Mazomanie/Black Earth, WI on their way further west. I think both Tyrus and David had also stopped off in Orleans Co, NY where they had cousins, descendants of old Tom's brother, Joseph. Phoebe had 13 children, not just the 6
you have listed. You're missing William 1804-1900, Sarah 1806- , Nancy 1809-1853, Hugh 1810-
1875, Thomas 1822-1843, David 1828-1915, and Milo 1834-1899. I am descended from Benjamin, who died and is buried at Spencer, IA (Clay Co). William,
the eldest, very likely was also in WI on his way to settle in KS, where he died. I and my father, Clyde Wellington and grandfather Elliston Everett, were also born in IA, and great-grandfather Charles Wellington was born in Upper Canada (Ontario) before Ben settled in Spencer.
Thanks for your diligent efforts with the very
wonderful FindaGrave outfit!! Your cousin, Dennis

David Beach is also a great grandfather of mine,
I am, of course, descended from his daughter,
Phoebe(Beach)McCargar, wife of Thomas William.
I am particularly interested in finding Phoebe's
last resting place, reputedly in Wisconsin. Do
you have any data on her?
I'm at or 818-353-9318

Sarah Wainwright
I contacted the cemetery per your request. I got a speedy response. Do you want to try to find it or should I put the request out for all with the info from the cemetery?

Thank you again

Here is the email from the cemetery

Dear Leslie:

They are both interred here at Mountain View Cemetery. They are in a family plot that was originally under the name WELCH.

The interment location is HORNE1 Section, Range 5, Block 1, Plot 5, Lot 11 for Sarah, and Lot 12 for Thomas.

Here is a link to an aerial satellite map showing the plot location within our cemetery:

Their lots may not have grave markers. If you let us know a few days prior to your visit, we can place a small yellow flag on the plot to make it easier to find.

Please reply if you have any questions.
