RE: Christopher Rutledge
Hi Susan,

Just death record and census records and tombstone, i.e., "inferred" date. If you don't feel comfortable with that, then please don't use it.

I was wondering if you were able to find his wife, Elizabeth Mary (Thompson) Rutledge in Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery. She died in 1/25/1890 in Toronto Township, Peel County, Ontario, but I have no place of burial for her at this time.

Do you live in Ontario, or have access to Peel County cemetery transcriptions? For me, I have to travel quite far to get transcriptions, as I live in west Michigan. I will try to find her at some point.

Oh, and I forgot to add Fermanaugh County in Northern Ireland, to his place of birth.

I am in the process right now of trying to link his known (burial known) children to him right now.

Re Margaret McCallum-Shortreed, Aberdeen cemetery
Hi Susan
You do such a good job and I have messed up!
I am so sorry.
This afternoon I put the Wrong Number for Margaret McCallum-Shortreed's Mom.
It should be # 120535713 Susannah Menzies-McCallum, wife of Duncan McCallum.

The one I sited was her aunt and not her father's wife, although I think she was named after her.

Could you please change that record in the Aberdeen Cemetery records for Margaret McCallum-Shortreed..
And thank you so much for all you do and have done.
Ada Shillinglaw-Deans

Kathryn Mary Irene Herbert (
Regarding your photo request. Kathryn's grave is unmarked. The cemetery index indicates that she shares a plot with Donald Bernard Hebert (brother?) and Mary Kaszonyi. At the site only Donald has a marker for which I have uploaded a photo to his memorial page, I have a wider angle photo that I can send to you by email if you wish.

Hi Susan, I have a 1907 family photo that supposedly shows Frances Elliott Ross as child. The records I found say she married Joseph Benjamin Ross (also labeled in the pic) in 1904, so might be misidentified. Pls email me and I will send you the photo. Would like to properly identify the Ross/Leslie/Elliott persons in the photo.

We seem to have Lloyd James Hunter 28132264 and his wife Jean Hunter 28132267 connected to each other twice. I am wondering if you are able to fix this?

Mehetabel Moore Ramsey
Hello Susan,
I noticed that the photo for Mehetabel Ramsey at Forest Lawn Cemetery had some "flowers" where she interned. Did you place them there or do you know who may have placed them there? I am researching the family.
Thank you,

I was just going to ask you a question when your message came in.

In front of the "Beach" Marker is a marker for a baby. See # 138027617 Is there anything that
can be added? (Father, Mother)

Velda Olding
Helen Friesen Esau 1918-2005
Hi Susan,
Regarding the person above, I have recorded her maiden name as Wiens, but I'm sure it's the same person because the dates match. I have asked for an edit to link her husband through findagrave. May I ask your source of maiden name of Friesen? Or was this from a previous marriage? I would appreciate any help you could offer. Thank you, Velda.

RE: Beach Family Headstones
You're welcome. I'm still working on Margaret Francis. She does not have a stone. I thought I took a picture of the correct plot, but when I was sitting in the motel last night, I realized I hadn't gotten the right spot. I'm headed back out today to get the picture. I'll upload it later today.
