Aberdeen Proving Ground Cemetery
Hi - Just saw the photo you posted of the cemetery Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. Do you know any history behind this cemetery? I find it interesting that most of the graves are of infants & children who lived short lives. Was this a special burial place for children of men/women in the armed forces? Thank you. Gwen <><

Thank you so much.

I felt embarrassed about the photos. I'm not a photographer and I will work on this and maybe even rplace the photos. As you point out and I should know coding is very important.

Peace and prayers

RE: I'm shocked.
2 - oh I see, it's because I wrote it as a caption, if you click on the photo you will see. I don't know how to change from the system putting my name to your name.
You don't know anything about me and my situation but are quick to judge.
Thank you for taking the photos for me, that was very kind of you.

RE: I'm shocked.
I did not put my name on the photo, the system did. I put YOUR name and it went further down for some reason. If it offends you I will remove it. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you.

I have been looking for James Williams father of Wilbert Williams. I says he was interned in Malden Ma.
I have checked for him no luck. His mother was Martha from Ireland so I think she was Catholic.
His father was George Williams born in Canada.
I have had a terable time finding anything on them.James was born 1820 in Nova Scotia. died in Boston(Chelsea) Ma. I have hit a brick wall. even paid someone from Nova Scotia to find info but all he found was what I had found. How has your trips been? I never got to Ireland. my sister Sharon got cancer and I took care of her she is 6 years cancer free. by for now Linda

I wondered what proof or documents were found for Robert's second wife Ruth? I have her as Ruth Johnson based on marriage record and will of her father leaving property in Charlestown to his son in law Robert Wyer. The reason I ask is to make sure there wasn't two Roberts married to Ruth? Thanks for any info! It's appreciated

Thx so much for getting this photo. I live in Calif & was out in the Boston area visiting in the fall. Went to the cemetery, but could not figure out where this grave was.
Now that I am looking at the site, I wonder if his wife, Anna, is also buried there. Looks like there is enough space for 2. I couldn't find her death record & the family didn't know where she was buried. I think she died in the early 1920s.
Anyway, your effort is greatly appreciated!

Thank you. There has been some mix up in the family for many many years. We have two grave designations. Holy Cross so far has been less than helpful to me in trying to figure out who is in what grave. My cousin has a receipt for $50 got perpetual care for 16 South of Walnut..Graves 14 & 15 dated Aug 5, 1936 that he recently found. Will have to check again w/HC. Even when I went there the directions didn't give me enough to go on. Too much time looking...to little health to continue~

Good Morning, may we please have your permission to use your headstone photo in our family tree? It's a beauty. As Find A Grave volunteers we always cite both the photographer and Find A Grave as our source unless asked not to. We want others to know who truly deserves all the credit. Thanks for considering our request.
