Greatly appreciate how quickly you responded to the Photo Requests, as well as the information that there was nothing on the unseen side of the markers. :-)

Thanks for the plot and stone photos. The office confirmed the ten burials in that plot, so five are unmarked. Unfortunate...
All the best to you,

Thank you so much Bob for posting the photos!! Samuel was my 4th cousin 6x removed. I just acquired thru ebay a medicine box that Samuels company made. How exciting to find out about family !! Your hard work is VERY much appreciated !!!
And not to be a butinksi but I totally agree with your stance on permission. I would also like to point out that not all pics posted on a memorial are headstone pics but of the person themselves that a family member posted from their personal collection and they should definitely be asked permission for and the poster and Find A Grave should be sited as the source. Totally my opinion for what it's worth.
I had a new Find A Grave member post a picture of my grandmother on my grandmothers memorial that I made, I asked where this member got the pic from and she said I got it off the internet so it could be anyone's pic. I wrote back and told her that was MY pic that someone stole and asked her to kindly remove it as it was against Find A Grave guidelines to post pics that aren't yours or you didn't take. She did and I haven't heard anything out of her since. My grandmother could be relation to her also but it was MY pic that she was trying to post as hers !!!
So thank you again and keep up the hard but enjoyable work !

Bob, I offered no one else's photos, nor did I imply in any way, shape or form that anyone was entitled to use anyone's photos without consent. I said that I offer my photos for anyone to use without requiring my permission SINCE THE FUNCTION OF THIS SITE IS TO ACQUIRE PHOTOS FOR OTHER PEOPLE, and that I believe that it should standard policy for anyone who posts photos here. You are entitled to disagree, but that doesn't entitle you to falsely accuse me to get some sort of perverted vengeance for my opinion that greedy selfishness should not be acceptable here. YOU are the one doing something immoral, I am not, so I utterly reject your absurd accusation against me, and I am finished with this conversation.

"I disagree with "freely..." Permission should be requested before copying other's work."
I assume you are referring to my profile commentary in which I wrote "I freely give permission for you to copy & use them." Since that statement was in reference to my own photos, really don't understand why you feel that you are entitled to agree or disagree with it. The function of this site is to provide people with access to their family graves, it is not to toot my own horn of magnanimity for taking a photo that I volunteered to take; I am emotionally stable enough to not require my fellow brothers and sisters on this planet to grovel for my permission to use a photo of their own family's grave. The occasional thanks, when and if given, is appreciated but not necessary.

Thanks for that info. I have been doing a bit more research into my Kidder relatives that lived in that area, and know that many of them are buried in Oak Grove, or at least I believe they are. I will make a list and check with the cemetery office before I post any more to FindAGrave.
