Thank you for taking a picture of my Great Aunt's grave site. (

I'm in Oregon, and not in a financial position to travel.

Yes of course. I'm fairly new at this and when the dialogue box came up "are you sure you want this to be public..." I wasn't sure.

Thank you again,

Hi Bob,

Thank you so very much for the time and work you put into making Anna Pierce Whitmore's memorial.

I appreciate your generous transfer of her over to me as it is truly appreciated.

You have a wonderful weekend.

D. Meserole
Lyons in Eliot Burying Ground
First of all, let me thank you for all of the photos that you place here on this web site. As a volunteer myself, I know how frustrating it is to find there is no marker. When I run across that issue, I attempt to take a photo of the spot that the person is buried, hopefully with headstone near by. I put the persons name on the area they are buried and in the caption or at the bottom of the photo I indicate that they do not have a headstone, but this is where they are buried, and what the nearest headstone(s) are. Please, I respectfully request that you either replace the photos for William, Sarah and Samuel Lyon, Memorial#s 45344649, 45344670 and 45344565, with photos of the spot where they are buried, or remove the photos and submit an edit request for plot with the information about not having a headstone, and the plot number (if known) Thank you so much for your kind attention to this matter.

Glenn M. Massey
Jewell Agnes Dunbar Francis/Mass National Cemetery

I am sorry that you had to go on a wild goose chase for my family and I. I personally called Mass National Cemetery and was given the wrong information. I was told she did have memorial marker and that is why I requested memorial headstone picture. Again, I am sorry for any trouble we may have caused you.

Thank you, Glenn Massey

RE: Quain burial plot error.
I am wondering now if Cahalan was correct since I did not have an Alice A Cahalan. Maybe will have to recall

Photo request for Patrick McDonald

I just want to thank you for for going the extra mile and helping me to get a photo of the plot of my great great grand father. He has been gone from us since November 1907. I know it was extra research since there was not marker on the site. I really appreciate the photos and the fact that you placed some flowers on the plot for reference. Thank you so much for providing me with this information about my family.

RE: Patrick Fitzpatrick
Yes - while brother's, my g-grandfather ended up MacKinnon and Neil ended up McKinnon. In Nova Scotia, the prefix was used interchangeably.

Without dates, its hard to know, but Neil's mother in law was Mary Kelly Madden (d. 1902) and her brother was John J Madden (I don't know when he died). Possibilities anyways?

RE: Patrick Fitzpatrick
Hi Bob - Thanks so much for the close-ups and back side photo's. If I get some time, I can create memorials for those folks that I know (anyone with last name Fitzpatrick). But you have opened a can of worms! I don't know who some of these people are. Though, my grandfather's brother was named Edmund Butler - so maybe this is where Butler came from. I am going to see what my mother knows!

I will try to create some more memorials by end of the week.

Thanks Again!

Thanks for the photo. Great to have. Any chance you have a photo that is a bit closer/clear, so I can read all of the names/dates? I think I can figure them out between what I see and what info I have, but wanted to make sure. If not, not a big deal. Thanks!

Fitzpatrick - St Paul's
Thanks so much for the Timothy J Fitzpatrick photo. Helped answer some questions. But one big mystery remains - who are these Cullinan's they share the stone with?

Jonas and Sarah Coburn
Thank you so much for the photos of these graves!

I would like to know the names of the other persons buried in the J. Coburn plot, and to get photos of those graves too if possible.

Thanks again!
