Did you want location of grave?

In the old days it was very unusual for someone of the Jewish faith to be cremated but in recent years it has become more common. If I can help with anything else, let me know.

Why don't you call or email the funeral home:
and see what you can find out from them. If you do find a location, let me know.

Hi Karen -
I am frequently at Westlawn Cemetery. If you call them 773-625-8600 and get the location of Geoffrey's grave I would be glad to photograph it for you.
PS - My Dad's family are from Lacon, so Marshall County is very familiar to me. Some neat old cemeteries there.

All of these are duplicates of the Country Singer. The last one has him in a cemetery.
You all may want to collaborate and combine you efforts. Your call.

Hi, Karen, sorry it took me so long to see this. I added the information today. Let me know if there is something you want me to add. I am going to ask his family where he is buried and I will add that info when I get it. Thanks! :)

I added several more when I could find anything at all on them. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't duplicated your memorials.

That is my dad's name. It's actually a pretty common name believe it or not. Where did you go to HS?
Added by Keri on Nov 10, 2013 3:45 PM
Hi Karen, I found the stones for the Wokecks. Looks like the dates are on there so you can add those to your memorials. Did they also have a daughter named Elsie? She is on the pic too.

Karen, I don't know why that showed up for you. I sent it to someone named Tony and it shows on his wall. I don't know what happened.

I don't have anyone by those names in my Virtual Cemeteries.
Who are they and who are they related to?

If you call the cemetery and get the burial location I will go out and take the photos that you requested. Due to privacy laws this cemetery will not give out grave locations to non-family members.
You can email me direct at email@example.com or post the plot number on your memorial pages and I'll keep an eye out for them.

It's gone now. Koz was in the middle picture yesterday. Now, yesterday's top picture is in the middle position and a new one is on the top. Someone's playing a game!

I'm curious, why include a photo of Rich Koz, the current Svengoolie, on Jerry G. Bishop's memorial?

Hello, I was wondering if you had a pic of Gacy's parents grave, which for obvious reasons the cemetary is relunctunt to point out to john q public. I'm also curious on how you view the allegation that John Wayne Gacy is buried there, alongside his parents?

Hello, Karen! I noticed you posted on his memorial that he is an ancestor of yours. He was my husband's great grandfather. I would love to know your connection to him!

Thank you so much for your nice message. It really is wonderful to read stories about the long ago pioneers of our country and I find myself as well doing it often. Thanks again for taking the time to send me your thoughts.

Gotcha! From now on, I will just use "in-Jesus" instead of "in-Christ" in non-Christian memorials to prevent rubbing people from other faiths the wrong way. Thank you so much for enlightening me and God bless!

|Pinoy Pride||RE: Memorials|
Ms. Lambert, thank you so much for your words of encouragement!
It's a fact of life that you can never really impress everyone. There will always be at least one person out there who doesn't share your own views and style in paying tribute to the faithfully departed, and religion is sadly one such major dividing factor. I even recently received here a message (which I have since deleted due to its personally distressing nature) from someone (name not mentioned) who is supposedly highly knowledgeable in the Holocaust that I shouldn't leave tokens mentioning "Christ" in Holocaust victims's memorials as Jews are particularly offended by such offerings. That's why I have temporarily put on hold the inclusion of child victims of the Holocaust in my virtual cemetery until I receive a reply within 2 weeks time from that person asking why are they offended by the mere mention of "Christ" and what would be a better term then.
Nevertheless, I will not let other people deter me from doing what I'm doing as I know in my heart that I am not deliberately stepping on other people's toes. If there is no one out there willing to create a hall of remembrance for those innocent angels (many of who have been long forgotten), regardless of what their race, religion, gender, nationality or social class was, then I will do it.
Thank you so much as well for your sympathy and kindness. Here's wishing you all the very best in life and God bless!
