It doesnt matter if you transfer...I was hoping we had a DNA connection since you had the symbol under James.

Yes, thank you, Susan, I would appreciate it if you transfer her memorial to me. I have used Ancestry for several years and maintain about a dozen trees but I can see how helpful Findagrave can be. The notes you included for my grandmother were of special help because it confirmed the church that would have been their parish. So again my heartfelt thanks.

I am searching for a cemetery named Bryn Athyn in Southampton, Bucks, Pa. where Rev. Thomas Stark Harris (1858-1940)and his wife Eva Marie Bradley (1863-1937)are supposed to be buried (according to obits). I would like to add them to Findagrave. Are you familiar with Bryn Athyn Cemetery? I am thinking that perhaps the name has changed since my ancestors were buried. I am hoping that you may be able to help.
Thank you for all of your good work.

|Dorothy Lehman||My grandmother|
Hello, Sue--I just wanted to thank you for posting a memorial for my grandmother, Gladys Reilly. I only recently came across it and appreciated the reference to her obituary. You inspired me to start adding family grave sites to Findagrave; I have now linked Gladys to her husband and daughter and am awaiting word if the link to her son's grave was accepted. Thanks again. Dorothy

You need to check Dr. William H. Longsdorf in Cumberland County, Pa and his 6 children. He was a Major in the Civil War, a medical doctor and a dentist. He had 6 children. He and all six of his children graduated from Dickenson College in Carlisle, Pa. The second son suffering from epilepsy had an accident during a seizure and died. However the oldest son Harold Longsdorf became a doctor and later took over his father's practice. Of the 4 daughters two also became medical doctors and Jessica became a dentist. The youngest, Persis was a teacher. Zatae moved to New Hampshire, married a surgeon, set up a medical practice with emphasis on women's health and became the Congresswoman for the state of New Hampshire. On the Dickinson campus at 33 Cherry Street in Carlisle there is a student residence building named Longsdorf Hall dedicated to her.

Jessica had 2 brothers and 3 sisters that need to be listed under Siblings.
Please place Harold H. Longsdorf (1858-1944
and Hildegard H. Longsdorf Lee (1868-1922)
under the Siblings heading with the other brothers and sisters.
They are both interred in Centerville Memorial Park in Centerville, Cumberland County, Pa.

Thank you for your interest in genealogy. I believe due to one of your entries I may have found my Great Aunt from Ireland. I'll pursue it further to confirm the information but thank you. Gave me a lead. And yes..as you bio indicates at some point someone loved and cared about the people buried.

Thank for so much for adding the picture of the Crompton family in Oakland Cemetery. I already linked him to his parents so ignore the "Denied" link I sent. Thanks for your work in William Penn Cemetery too.

Thank-you so much for the photo of George Knoedler's headstone and for giving me permission to use it in my documentation. This is not a cemetery I would ever have gotten the chance to visit and your help is priceless.

Thank you very much for the headstone photo. I really wanted to see it because Joan has another final resting place where her ashes were scattered. Her family apparently divided her ashes.
