M.Johnson gravestone
Thank you for writing back. Thanks for the info on the Historical Society. If you ever do get a chance to see that stone again and can make anything out, I would love an email any time!
Thanks, again, Charlene

Re: grave posting M.W. Johnson 73352258
While on Ancestry I happened upon your posting of a grave of M.W.Johnson 73352258. I believe it belongs to my great-great grandfather Mack Johnson whose birth and death dates match that headstone. He lived and died in Missouri. There is more on the stone that is unreadable in the photo. Do you have any information on the inscription or regarding this marker?
Thank you,
Char Jennings

MARY PROSSER 37204568
Hi SVH77

Would you be able to send me or upload the details on the above gravestone, that you added on 17 May 2009. I have tried to enlarge it - but cannot read the words.

Mary is the sister of one of my direct line ancestors - so it will help to increase what we know about them.

Sent with my grateful thanks and best wishes.
YJ

Question --Photo attached to Clarence Leroy Gillespie
You have a photo of the burial place of Susan Gillespie, and daughter Alice Asebes. An additional photo has the caption that Clarence is also buried there, though appears to be unmarked. Just need to know for my records, do you know that he is buried there from family information or possibly from cemetery records? Thanks much for any information. Cashie

Joseph H ("J. Howard") Earnshaw
Hello,

I noticed that you had posted a photo for a grave marker from 1911 in the Los Angeles County Cemetery. If you happen to visit that cemetery again, would you please take a look to see if there is a marker for my 3rd Great Grandfather, Joseph H Earnshaw (aka "J. Howard Earnshaw" or "J.H. Earnshaw" or even "J. H. H. Earnshaw")

Joseph died in Covina on 11 February 1902 and was buried in the Los Angeles County Cemetery sometime thereafter. I am guessing that he must be in one of the older parts of the cemetery, and perhaps his marker is not that far from the 1911 one you documented.

Thank you so much for any help you may be able to offer.

John

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't "do" heat so being in Florida in the summer would be miserable for me. I hope you survived.

I am researching some Broadheads and wondered why there is a photo of a headstone for Josephine Brodhead on the memorial for Roy Broadhead. Can you help me with this?

RE: Florence Lake Owens
I don't know if they were divorced, but definitely estranged. I fear he was an alcoholic and died alone and destitute. Sad situation. Thank you for sending me the death certificate. I found her on ancestry in the death index, but I forget to check familysearch sometimes. Hope you are enjoying Florida.

Florence Lake Owens
I see you photographed Florence Lake Owen's grave. I was wondering if you know who the graves are around this headstone. I'm trying to find the location of Florence Lake's mother's grave. She was married to Arthur Timberlake. Their children were Arthur Lake and Florence Lake. I've located Arthur Timberlake, but have unable to locate Edith Goodwin Timberlake/Lake.

William Landers
Hello,

William Landers, Find A Grave Memorial # 3726136, is the husband of Martha E Plummer (1847-1898), my 2nd great grand aunt. Since you are the person who took the photograph for his memorial, I thought I'd take a chance and ask if you knew where her grave is located. Thank you for your time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to take the photo that was requested. It will help me put together more of our family's history. My apologies for not responding to your kindness for the photo but due to family illness I've gotten behind on my research.

Thank you for all your efforts in helping families with their research.
