Thank you so much for all the effort put forth on your part. The obits really help a whole lot.
I would like a little more information if it is available for George (?my first cousin-4x rmvd)
Find A Grave Memorial# 37760753
I believe his parents to be Richard Cole (born CT) and Priscilla Yokes (PA). They were the parents of 10 children...8 died before 1900 (6 unmarried)
Census for George shows his parents as born CT-PA; Rich&fam lived in Kinsman OH (Trumbull County) which is right on the OH-PA line. Erie County is just north of where this family lived.
The child mentioned in obit as in Ohio was Cassius buried in Kinsman Cem
Circumstantial evidence only. would like to know if there is some specific evidence that George is part of the Richard-Priscilla family.
I would love to link George with the rest of his family--only if we know your George is my George!

Would you please confirm this record. A volunteer who went to the cemetery to take a picture could not locate the grave. Went to the directory posted on the building, and his name is not listed.
If you could provide a location, it sure would be much appreciated....THANK YOU!!!

Would you mind if I used the picture of the stone of Pvt. Charles H. Bate? He was a great uncle of my husband. We don't want to sell the picture or profit from the use of it, but would like to include it in our family history on ancestry. If you don't want us to use the picture, we will understand. Thank you.

Mother suffered greatly due to cruelty, ignorance, injustice and greed. Those responsible will answer to Jesus who loves Mother.
This is a relative of mine, I never met her but it saddens me that she was not treated well

|Marie Ann Dubus Garrett||Gustavus Arnold|
I recently requested a photo for Gustavus, and the volunteer could not locate him. When they went to the cemetery office to inquire, there is no record.
Will you please clarify as to how you received and recorded this information?

|JudyMcG||RE: Bena Lyon, Wheaton, KS|
I found out today that Bena's actual name was Jaquabeana (not sure if spelling is correct). It looks like her family called her "Bean." Her family was living in Winnebago County, Illinois in 1870 and 1880. She and most of the family was born in Scotland. Her dad died in Winnebago County, IL in 1890.
I know what you're up against searching for an AWOL grandfather! My husband was given to the neighbors by his birth mother or parents. He had at least 2 siblings that he has never met. He was 15 before he found out that he was not raised by his birth parents. I've tracked down his deceased birth parents, but have not found the siblings.
Thanks for making the change on Bena and good luck in your search.

|JudyMcG||Bena Lyon, Wheaton, KS|
While searching for all "Lyon" graves in Pottawatomie County, KS, I saw one in Wheaton Congregational Cemetery (#30047472) that you had added for a "Jena" Lyon. Guessing that her birth date was too early for the name Jena, I clicked on it to see if it might be Bena Lyon, mother of my great uncle John Lyon. Moss on the first letter disguised it a bit, but I am pretty sure that it is Bena, the name found with various spellings on several census records. Will you take a look at it again? If you agree, you can change it.
There is an Ancestry family tree that has her with the maiden name Patterson. She was born in Scotland. Is she possibly related to your husband?
Thank you for taking the photo and for considering making the change.
