|Vivien gianna caple||howard elmer armstrong|
Dear sir, I'm writing because howard armstrong is my biological great grandfather. He married Lucy armstrong in 1916, and they had three boys, robert,James(kline) and Thomas( caple) my grandfather)-the younger boys were adopted as a single mother during the depression she could only afford to keep the eldest who was about 7. Luckily the boys knew each other, as neighbours took them in, and all grew up knowing their birth mother. Have you any connection to the family or are you a 1911 baseball fan? Thank you.vivien.

|Alice (Ashley) Morrison||Allen's Vale in NY|
I recently visited Vale and looked for you for Lewis and William Allen. We found the plot but there were no stones for either William or Lewis. There were stones that could not be read as they were worn off. The only William we found was William F. 1882-1900, in a plot near, which is already listed on Find A Grave.

Hi Adam-I filled your request for Frank Lobrillo. He is buried with is wife, Mary Felice Lobrillo (1895-1971) along with their son, Albert LoBrillo (1915-1945) and his wife, Claire LoBrillo Pontarelli (1914-1955). I took pictures of their headstones too so if you create memorial pages for them let me know and I'll post them...Mary

|Wanda||RE: Virginia Marazzo|
You're welcome Adam. I also added a photo of Virginia from her obit too. I'm off to take some more photos today at Fairview. My father is buried there, which is why I visit so often so I'll be grabbing up more headstone photos to include.
I will be taking some up in Lundy's Lane Cemetery when the weather gets better. I have several relatives and friends buried there as well. I am sort of the caretaker for the grave sites as family members do not have time to tend to them.
So you should find more photo uploads to add to memorials you've included in Fairview. I'll get as many as I can. I realize it's helpful for loved ones to actually see grave sites, so I know how important it is to have the photos.

Adam: If you have no problem with it, I'd love to take over the Mort Rogers site. I know where he is buried and just about everything concerning his amateur baseball days in Brooklyn and here in Massachusetts, and his family. The NA umpiring duties are about 10% of his baseball life.

Hi Adam-On your page for Frank Lobrillo you have his date of death as Nov 8, 1937. Are you sure it isn't Nov 8, 1967? I find a Frank Lobrillo at St Joseph's who was interred on Nov 11, 1967 at the age of 80 and an obit from the Chicago Tribune on Nov 9, 1967 which matches most of the children you have listed in the bio on your page. That Frank Lobrillo is buried in Section AA, Block 1, Lot 209....Mary

Dave's the best, I'll check his book, which I have but didn't think to look in for THB items. Ten of his 23 games involved the Red Stockings, a team I'm doing work on, and the reason I was drawn to his story. Nine were NY Mutual games. Thanks.

Have Theodore playing for Newark, NJ, Eureka baseball team in the mid-1860s but do not see him listed as playing with Olympics of Philly. Do you have such confirmation?? Thanks.

Thank you for the great headstone photo. Really appreciate it. Did the other side of the headstone have inscriptions for Sarah Beamer & Grace Rigg Cote? Sarah was Ida's mother.

I notice that the caption of the photo says "Lee, P Washington", not "Lee, Wyatt A". Where did you find this photo? Is it mislabeled? Thanks so much for looking into this matter. - Judy Tear

Glad I could help. The stone is quite large. I believe there is room to add Louis's name and dates if you choose. The cemetery office can help. They do the work and can quote a price and timeframe.
