RE: Theodore H. Bomeisler
Dave's the best, I'll check his book, which I have but didn't think to look in for THB items. Ten of his 23 games involved the Red Stockings, a team I'm doing work on, and the reason I was drawn to his story. Nine were NY Mutual games. Thanks.

Theodore H. Bomeisler
Have Theodore playing for Newark, NJ, Eureka baseball team in the mid-1860s but do not see him listed as playing with Olympics of Philly. Do you have such confirmation?? Thanks.

Thank you for the great headstone photo. Really appreciate it. Did the other side of the headstone have inscriptions for Sarah Beamer & Grace Rigg Cote? Sarah was Ida's mother.

Picture on Wyatt A Lee memorial
I notice that the caption of the photo says "Lee, P Washington", not "Lee, Wyatt A". Where did you find this photo? Is it mislabeled? Thanks so much for looking into this matter. - Judy Tear

RE: Louis Piro
Glad I could help. The stone is quite large. I believe there is room to add Louis's name and dates if you choose. The cemetery office can help. They do the work and can quote a price and timeframe.

Michael B. Scanlon [Mt. Olivet D.C]
F.Y.I.
It appears that he played ball during his time as a teenager in the Civil War. Using his Army pay in 1866 bought a bar/poolhall @ 9th & S in D.C. bearing his name for 65 years. Pushed for forming of D.C. Baseball and located their 1st field, and helped chose location for Griffith Stadium it's longtime ballpark. Founded D.C. team in 1871...Info in Shirley Povich's History of Senators c 1954.
