Bio

I enjoy finding information on my ancestors and their families and helping others with information they may have to add. I spend a lot of time on Ancestry.com and researching information to confirm results on my tree. You are welcome to copy pictures I have taken, so long as you provide credit to me for having taken them and they are for personal use and that you found it on Find A Grave.
I went with my grandmother to visit graves as a child and my father, besides having been a farmer, was a funeral director and mother a nurse. Much of my life has revolved around the care of the living and deceased.
I enjoy taking pictures in the cemeteries of headstones and providing obituaries (when possible)for research of their family, whether they are close or distant relatives. I do try to provide the source of my information and if I have a photo posted, click on the photo and the caption section should provide my source. I also take photo's of surrounding headstones of my family members to post to FAG so that others may find their relatives. (If I have a memorial and you would like to manage it, please ask. If it's not one of my family members, I'll be happy to transfer to you).
A trick I recently found to help bring out the writing on some of the dark stones---pour water on them.
Any requests you have, please be considerate. That goes much farther with me than negative or nasty comments.
