Do you recall(I know it's been 6 years) if the memorial for Samuel Hyne, Memorial# 46913110, was done from your observation of the cemetery or from church records? I'm trying to locate records saying he was in fact buried there. His veteran's burial card says he was not, but I believe he was(the death date was never carved into his stone). The VA does not recognize him as being there based on the WPA plat not showing him.

Hi Linda - I am a vascular surgeon on Long Island and am writing a paper on Dr Apel and his extraordinary work in Korea. Do you have any contact information for his children r grandchildren, or Therese in particular?

Oh, because he was one of the headstones along that back row of Tollivers. Died as a young child, fell out of a window back in 1913.

Hi Linda. I have a client who is a descendent of George and Maria Specht-Meyers, Find A Grave Memorial# 46932450 . We have a question as the Maiden name. His family(Grandmother to mother) has passed down that her maiden name was Shurtz. Are you a descendent of the Meyers family and do you possibly have any records I could share with him that support she was a Specht and not a Shurtz?

Heidelberg Reformed church cemetery in Stoutsville Ohio. I am looking for any church information on Sarah Dumm died 1872 that you have put on findagrave. Is there any record of who her kin was or parents. Her maiden name was Culp but I cannot find any record on her parent. She was married to John Henry Dumm. Do you know how is the best way to contact the cemetery to see what any records show on the names of Culp or Dumm? Thanks you.

Thank you for making the edits, etc. This family was scattered to the winds so it's great to continue bringing them together again.

I want to thank you for adding Margaret's information on Find A Grave. I have made numerous trips to Circleville doing geneology on my family, the Earnharts's. Wm was my gr.gr.gr. grandfather. Find A Grave has helped me to locate 2 of 4 of my gr.gr. grandfather John's sisters. John migrated to Kimmell, IN in 1843 from Circleville, OH. Again, I want to thank you for placing Margaret and William's children in your write up. Using Find A Grave would have speeded up finding on Circleville relatives 20 years ago!
I am trying to locate William Earnheart's father and mother in Swan Twp., Vinton, County with no luck. The names are Johannes and Margaret Ehrenhart or Earnheart.

Re: Samuel Leath # 53715562 Samuel Leith is my 3rd G-Grandfather
Correct spelling for his name is:
Someone has connected James Leeth B 29 Mar 1799-23 Jun 1874 Find a Grave# 85612220 to Samuel Leith as his son. This particular James Leeth is NOT the son of Samuel Leith. Samuel Leith and his wife Ann DeLong did not even get married until 18 Dec 1804 in Belmont County, Ohio.
Samuel Leith did, in fact, have a son named James Leith, however, he moved to Effingham County, Illinois along with several of his brothers such as David Leith, Isaac Leith, and Wilkinson Leith. He lived there until he died on 04 Oct 1874 and is buried in Leith Cemetery, Mason, Effingham County, Illinois.
Please REMOVE this James Leeth #85612220 as a son of Samuel Leith# 53715562 Thank you in advance. Brenda Ossowski

Hello Linda - Do you by chance have another picture of Isaac's gravestone? The one on his memorial has a shadow covering some of the memorial. His is #51979210. Thanks

|MaryAlice Wallis||James K. Henry|
I have seen your photographs of my g-g-g grandparents graves, Levi and Sarah Henry in Tent Cemetery. I am looking for their son, James K. Henry. He died in 1859. You will know his story as it is his first wife's grave in Otterbein Cemetery that has the horseshoe image on it. His death was caused by being kicked in the head by a horse. I haven't been able to find his grave anywhere. His second wife, my ancestor, lived a long life and eventually remarried. She is buried in Pisgah in Perry Co. where her second husband's family is buried. He is not there nor is he in Otterbein. My great grandmother is one of his four daus. and I can't believe his grave is unmarked. I spoke with a person at the Fairfield Co. Geneal. Society and she said there is one grave at Tent Cemetery for M.S. Henry but with an add'l. note that it might be J.K. Henry. It may be broken. Do you know anything about that? My sister and I plan to be in the area in a few weeks and would appreciate any help you might offer. I will add information to the two Memorials. By the way, there is a James Henry buried there but he was a young child.
