Hello, you have the above people as Walker Chapel Cemetery in Macon County. They are actually buried at Walkers Chapel Cemetery, Fultondale, Jefferson County, Alabama. I would appreciate if you would change the cemetery. I am a personal friend of their son. Memorials are: Erwin 112276700 and Katherine 112276956. Thank You!

Norma and Ridley Bell
Thanks for listing my name and number on the memorials. I have suggested edits for Ridley. I do not know who the other Ridley is. His parents were Benjamin and Idella Bell. I have never met Norma or Ridley, but I knew his mother, Elizabeth, from visiting my grandmother.

Thanks for listing my name and number in the memorials. I have suggested edits for Ridley based upon census data. I do not know who the other Ridley is. His parents were Benjamin and Idella Bell. I never met Ridley or Norma, but I knew his mother, Elizabeth, from visting my grandmother.

Last April, I found a second-cousin who lives in Kansas because he maintained a grave of one of our relatives. How can my relatives contact me if you maintain the graves of my relatives?

It appears that he was a private in Co. H, 54th Regiment Georgia infantry that signed up in Columbus. I am in the process of completing a history of the 54th Georgia and plan to include find a grave information where I can find it.

Thank you so much for all the effort you put into finding this grave and adding the photos. I am not the creator, I have not contributed in any way, but my son served with this man as well as the young man who was killed with him, Sgt Aaron Cutler Elandt 8887917. I was blessed in that my son returned home. I believe in honouring those who gave their lives and those who served with them. Thank you for your extra ordinary efforts. If we can be of service to you in Australia, my home now, please let me know. I find it sad you are having a hard time with cemeteries not being open to publishing photos - I wish you all the best.
Warm regards,
Rebecca

Forwarded this info that was in his SAC to me. Thanks, Winnette

Linda Ames' photos of the lot are lovely - except that they are of the wrong lot. They show the lot for the family Jesse G. BOGGS family and his wife's family, the KNIGHTONs (Lot 40 in Section 7). The entry in the Sexton's card file for Sam shows:

Samuel BOGGS, male, died aged 67 years of dysentery at 502 Fourteenth Street, Columbus, Ga.; interred 7-27-1909 in the east half of Lot 43 in Section 7.

Also buried in this lot are his wife Ann (PATE) BOGGS, as well as six-month-old Louie Jasper CLEGG, evidently their grandson. I would add photos here of the lot where Sam and Ann are buried, but there is no room for additional photos on this memorial. I did post some on the memorials for Ann and Louie. I expect that Sam will have a marker on his grave in two or three months, as I will be sending off an application for one from the Veterans Administration shortly.

RE: Alice Chaussee photo request
Hello,

It's my pleasure to obtain the photos where I can. It keeps me active and outside.

Here is the Find A Grave number for a great photo of the Michael Chaussee monument: Find A Grave Memorial# 32810193

I walked around the obelisk hoping that I would find something of an engraving indicating Alice was also on the stone since the cemetery records have her in that vicinity. She must have had her own stone but nothing remains. There are stones that are buried but many have been so destroyed they are unreadable.

I wish I could have done more but the church does have a record of her burial there. I don't know if you have or can get a copy of it.
