Elizabeth Bay
Hi,

I see that you have posted a photo of Elizabeth Bay's gravestone in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Coffey county, and I was wondering if you were able to read the dates on the headstone? I'm unsure of the exact date of birth and death of my ancestor and I can't quite make out the dates on the photo. Any info you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Why would you post a gravestone picture on a memorial that already has a very good picture of the same gravestone? Find A Grave Memorial# 18572503 - If you are related, I would be happy to transfer the memorial to your care.

Bill,
I finally found him, he's listed on the muster rolls as Richard Jefferson and likewise buried that way. Find A Grave Memorial# 832940. The date of death they show is May 29, 1920, but he died according to obit May 22, 1920 in La Junta, Colorado.

Hi Bill,
will you take a look at the records there and see if you can find this soldier? I can't find him on the grave locator and he served in the 2nd Colored Troops Co A. Can't find him on the adjutant general's report either.

His obit is on the memorial and the 1865 Fort Scott census shows him serving. He's listed in the household of Andrew and Jane Jones. I checked Jones too but didn't find him.

Thanks
Carolyn

Thanks so much for fulfilling my request for a photo of the gravestone of Daniel Tinney. It was most helpful to me to see that this man is indeed the Civil War veteran I has suspected. Your timely help is very much appreciated! SuzanneA

Elizabeth Bay in Pleasant Hill Cemetery
Hi,

I see that you've submitted a photo for Elizabeth Bay's grave in Pleasant Hill Cemetery:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=141215657

I was wondering if you had transcribed the stone at the time? Unfortunately I'm unable to read the inscription on the photo, and am pretty sure this is the final resting place of one of my ancestors that I've been looking for for a while. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Bill,
I apologize if I am being a pain. I looked to see again who has the memorial for William Cameron. Your name was on it. I wrote the number down this time. I would appreciate it if you would check your files again for me. If you could transfer my GG-Uncle to me, I would be more than greatful. I am sorry if I have caused you any upset.

Thank-you again,

Fuller Memorials
Hi Bill,

I have just been doing research on this branch of the Fuller family, and see Cousin Otis' wonderful contributions. I am not sure why he declined your offer to manage the memorials, but I would be delighted to do it, and fill in the bios and so forth, and connect them to other family members. Like Otis, I am descended from Benjamin, through Ezekiel, and not descended from Ezekiel's brother Benjamin Franklin Fuller , but I am trying to link as many of this Fuller family together as possible. I'm still new to being active on Find-A-Grave, but am a Fuller by birth.

Thank you so much for all you've done to honor our ancestors and make it possible for us to find these graves.

-Debbie

RE: Benjamin Fuller
Dear Mr., Fischer,
Thank you for asking, but I will have to decline: I am descended from Benjamin's son, Ezekiel (who moved to Coosa/Elmore Co.) , and not son Benjamin F. I also now live in California, which would make it more ifficult for me to manage the Memorial.

Otis Fuller
Benjamin Fuller
The 1780 date of birth for Benjamin Fuller is incorrect: This is my 4th great grandfather, and he was born in 1770. In the 1850 census of Walton/Gwinnett Co., GA he is 80 years old. He had 3 sons all b. Pendleton District, SC: Ezekiel, Benjamin F., and eldest son G. Washington Fuller, the latter who stayed in SC. This Benjamin was son of another Benjamin, b. circa 1734, Granville Co., NC, son of Ezekiel Fuller II and Sarah Vinson of Northampton Co., NC. The earliest known will and DNA proven proven Fuller of this line is Ezekiel Fuller I and Deborah Spivey, of Isle of Wight Co., VA.

Elizabeth Gibson
Elizabeth Gibson was the d/o Benjamin Franklin Fuller and Sarah Rakestraw. You will find her in HH of the Benjamin above, in 1860 Randolph Co., AL census. Next to her in the census is sister Sarah E. Fuller who married first, a Fannin(g), and then married James Marion Reeves, s/o Lofton Reeves, the latter who appears next to Benjamin Fuller and Nancy Fanning in same census above.
