|Searchers||RE: Baldelli 66578995|
For the past decade I have been researching the Vacca family whose origin is the area of the Italian Piedmont known as the Canavese. Branches of the family immigrated to the US beginning early 1870s--some to Braidwood, Illinois; Collinsville, Illinois; Barton Co, Missouri; and Frontenac, Kansas. William Baldelli is a Vacca descendant through his mother Maggie (Vacca) Baldelli Smarda. William Baldelli. is my 3rd cousin, 3 generations removed. I first found his name in a c. 1960 memoir/family history written by Joe Vacca (1897-1973). Since then I have found William Baldelli in other Vacca family trees, and in the 1930 Census, living with his parents (Baldelli) in Collinsville. His parents were divorced in the early/mid 1930s and his mother, Margaret (Maggie) Vacca Baldelli married William Smarda around 1937. I did not find William Baldelli (age 2yrs 7 mos at census time) in the 1920 Census, although his parents Emilio Baldelli and Maggie Vacca Baldelli are listed and living in the home of her parents. Perhaps son William was erroneously omitted from that Census. It is not uncommon to find omissions, especially in households where the residents don't speak English in the local dialect. Hope this information justifies the edit. Thank you for your contributions to Findagrave. These memorials are a valuable resource to family historians. Sincerely, Carol

Have checked the cemetery records and also checked and confirmed that what is on his memorial is what is written on his headstone. The first photo of the headstone from years ago used to create the memorial has been withdrawn over copyright issues. But I did a rubbing to double check. So I will leave it as is but will keep it under consideration as to how to denote that someone has a issue with this.

|Beth in Colorado||George A. & Margaret Gilmore Palmer|
May I please use your photos of George A. and Margaret Gilmore Palmer's headstones on my Ancestry.com Family Tree? I will, of course, give you credit. George Alexander Palmer is paternal grandfather of wife of 3rd cousin 2x removed. It's so nice to have something tangible for a person when you don't have access to family photos. Thank you so much for your consideration.

It appears I've duplicated this memorial. Another one exists that was created before mine. You added your photos to my memorial. Please be kind enough to move them to the other memorial (#88226007). Once that's done, I'll delete my duplicate memorial.
Thank you, Carol Cotton

Please be patient with me I will need to check out his headstone on my next trip South. The last photo of it was removed by the volunteer who posted it due to a disagreement with Find A Grave

Thank you for the lead on the Civil War Soldier buried in Canada. I have added him to my roster. I am very slowly working on a book that will be a field guide for Civil War graves. Again I appreciate it and don't hesitate to send any more. Have a great day! Anne

Go to Findagrave - Memory Gardens Cemetery,
Amarillo, Randall Co., TX see John Robert Pool and Mildrew Virgie (Barker) Poole. They are my parents. They now have a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The children need to know in an honorable way about their family and their love for the Lord. Just as it was handled so many years ago, with Love.

William thanks so much for transferring her memorial (and her husband and son) to me. Thank you also for all the time you spend helping to reconnect families to lost or forgotten loved ones. Finding Rachel Toner here led me to connect with solid evidence that she was a forgotten branch of my family history. She is no longer forgotten. Thanks!

Hi, you asked me to change Ernests birthdate to May 1872. I can't do that kind of thing without verification of an error. If you would like to ad the census as a photo, then I will add the note. But, I just won't do that without evidence. Thanks a lot!

Lucy Jane Bosley (Norman) (Manlove) is my Great Grandmother. Her first husband was my Great Grandfather, Moses Henry Norman. I would be honored to maintain Lucy's memorial and also Henry Manlove's memorial. Thank you for offering.

You have added some photos to pages in Star Cemetery to the Hoy family, (and possibly others).
I cannot understand why you just added a cropped version of just the inscription? That would have been fine had you added a photo of the complete stone. :(

Hello, this is the only John Fisher I don't have from St. John's burial records. I don't know if he is in my line (Wilhelm Fischer & Elisabeth Hain). Do you know his parents? firstname.lastname@example.org

Mr. Fischer, I am fairly new to this site. T.B. And Gussie Lauderdale are my great-grandparents. Their daughter, Sara Annie Lauderdale Hurst, my paternal grandmother, died in 2000. How do we make this family connection on the site?

Thank you for making the links. I've been working for a long time collecting records and analying data to overcome an error made in his parentage some 50+ years ago. They might be simple silicone links, but for me it's huge.
