Thank you for making the updates. I have been working on the Hunt family and making the links to parents, children and other family members.

Hi how all is well with you. I am doing some research and I see you have pictures of some of the people I am looking for. I am guessing they are family to you. but with my research and seeing yours I would like to talk with you. You have Gjertrud and peter brevik and there children. I have the same names and picture as have but your tribute does not show Manda Elvina. and I am wondering why?

Mrs Billy Harden
57647438 Carrie Reinicke
I thought you might be related to Carrie Reinecke since you left notes on her Find A Grave site. Her paternal grandmother is Nancy Ann Neel, Find A Grave# 130799340, she is listed in the Leesville Cemetery in Gonzales County, Texas. There are 50 unmarked graves there. I have been unable to locate the graves of her grandparents, Jacob Shields and Nancy Ann Neel Harden, and her birth parents, Calvin and Etta Carpenter Harden. Both of her parents died in 1919 and her dad's sister and husband, Carrie Harden and William E. Boatner adopted her. There are a number of cemeteries in the area near Leesville, Gonzales, Texas, and some may have used Leesville Cemetery as a generic term. Thanks you for your response.

Sy Tryon, Jr, #117175581
Hi Carol,

Since you live in Houston County I'm hoping you can help. I've just created a memorial for Sy Tryon, Sr. and I'm going to send you an edit to attach him to Sy, Jr. However, I found the death certificate for Sy, Jrs. mother Azzie and it shows she's in the Crockett Colored Cemetery. I don't see it listed on Houston County cemeteries so do you know if it's the same as Forest Lawn or if it has another name?

Mrs Billy Harden
I am interested in knowing if you are related to Carrie Boatner Reinicke. My husband is son of Clate S. Harden, who was a brother to Carrie's mother. I am interested in #57647438 because of her life story that has been passed down through the Harden family. Since she was adopted by Will and Carrie Katherine Harden Boatner after her birth mother and paternal grandmother passed away, her life story has been hidden and I feel that it is a tragedy that her birth parents are left out. Perhaps you could fill in some of her story that has been lost. This is why I am sending you this message. I hope to hear from you soon. I too am interested in keeping alive the people that are lying beneath these headstones. Thanks for any help you can give. Eunice Harden

I see now. Thanks so much and again for the lovely poem too. I was thinking it was possible that UB found another lovely gal, after Aunt Dee had passed on years ago.

Have a blessed week end and to you to a very Merry Christmas.

Mo Memorials 2 Make
Hi Carol
Thanks for the sweet poem left on my Uncle's Find A Grave Page. Louis Burrell Baxter. I was wondering what your connection was with him? Are we related? So many folks have appeared that he helped, talked too or just crossed paths with. Really warms my heart. He was such a compassionate, loving man.

Would love to hear your story, if you want to share. Thanks so much and have a blessed and Merry Christmas!

Hugs, Karen Renee'

RE: The Hisers in Houston County
Thanks Carol. Just one question, how do you fit into my family lines? I haven't been doing very much research of late, instead have been recuperating from a total knee replacement, it isn't a quick thing when you are my age, 84. But, I am grateful haven't had any real problems, other than losing my memory and appetite, regained the appetite after about one month but still working on the memory, been told it may take up to six months, I am now into my 3rd month, take therapy every week. One of my sons, stayed with me until last week, he would have stayed longer but I thought I could manage on my own and thus far everything has gone well with the exception of having to have my heater worked on, then my water well went out, that wasn't cheap and the very next day had to have my son come out and work on my washer and dryer, seems as if everything wants to break down at the same time and December is always a more expensive month than any other of the year, mainly because of the property taxes are due. Above name born 10 Jan 1889 died 28 Aug 1970. The obit listed on FindAGrave is not completely correct. There appears to be two different obits combined. From Mr. Hall down is incorrect for Taylor Jonas Hail. Thanks, Bob

Hi Carol,
Thanks for the information about him but I already have it. It's just I haven't been able to get to him.
I served with the same company he did.

No, I think it would be too confusing for both photos to be there. You can see from the family photo it isn't the same man. He was my Great Grandfather. Thanks
