I would love to see that obit. I've looked around Ancestry for more information on Carolyn but so far, I've not found an actual obituary. As I mentioned in Carolyn's bio, she is in our Black family tree as the stepdaughter of my husband's maternal Great(2)Grand-Aunt, Grace Stemmons Hickman Dewey. I would also like to find more information about Carolyn's daughter Gladys, as she was being cared for within the household of Great-Aunt Grace and Dr. Dewey, and also died relatively young.
Thanks for any information you might be willing to share.

|Jim Copley||RE: Wiser Photo|
You're sure welcome. Actually the Greenwood Cemetery directory and block map had a typo in the last name of both Theodore and Melissa Jane. Their records show the surname "Wisner." I reported the error and it will be corrected.
While confirming the correct surname, I found this interesting information here:
Theodore Franklin Wiser enrolled, 24 Sep 1864 in Company D 5th New York Heavy Artillery, and was discharged at Harpers Ferry on 22 Jun 1865. Disability due to gun shot wounds to his left shoulder and right leg.

|jj||RE: Nelson Beebe|
In answer to your question "did you take that picture?" I do not see any picture on the Nelson Beebe memorial other than the cemetery sign photo which appears automatically on all memorials created in the Sutter Cemetery. I did not take or add that particular photo.
If your question was in regard to some other photo, please let me know which one and I will be happy to answer your question.

Hey, I found a death notice on a Mrs. L.D. Beebe, who grew up and is buried in Summit. Might this be the same person. The date of death is the same...no maiden name was given. Please check out the memorial to see if I have the right one. Sandi

Some I had, some I got from elderly cousin Irene Beebe Shrock. She's done research on the Beebe's for 50+ years.
