Laurie I read your write up and know you have really had a time! God Bless
It was brought to my attention that we have a duplicate post. Mine is # 91827293 on Gayle Linder. She is my wives sister and did not know you had a post when I did mine. I think it was my first one and just learning. Anyway I have most of her family listed and would like to keep mine, if you don't mind.
Yours is listed at 58966682.

|Carol Kirby||Irene Stabler 55512506|
While working on some Geiger family, I stumbled over this person who was Irene Elizabeth Barsh. She first married Franklin Glen Haigler (7/3/1844 - 5/4/1909); cannot find where he was buried. They had 2 sons, Andrew Jackson Haigler #55512632 and Grover Cleveland Haigler #25142961. Franklin died and she married Benjamin Tilmon Stabler.
Will you please make these notations so when I request Andrew and Grover be connected to Irene, it might make sense if anyone wonders.
Franklin Glen Haigler's parents were John Andrew Haigler and Caroline Wannamaker Haigler. I cannot find where either of them were buried.

|Doris Pendergast||Gates Family Cemetery, St. Matthews, SC|
Please recheck with the Funeral Home for the Cemetery location for the memorial you provided for Bernard William "Barney" Grau. He is not at the location you chose for his memorial. The Gates Family Cemetery can only be considered a burial ground with only family of "Christian Gates". It has not had any new interments in over 50 yrs. It has almost been destroyed by log trucks clearing it years ago, cleared for crops and now apparently used by hunters. I was there in 2011 and saw the desecration.
If you know anyone connected with cemetery restorations in the SC area that would be helpful so a request could be made.
Your work with Find A Grave is appreciated and I hope you will be able to determine the correct info for Mr. Grau.

|Richard Weiss||Major Lewis Golson|
Thanks for posting the excellent summary for Major Golson.
Just wanted to let you know that over 50 Golson descendants have a Golson DNA research project with some amazing findings. (always looking for more Golson's to join).
Happy to share all details via regular email.
One of the findings is that Maj. Lewis Golson did not use the name John. We found his original land grand when he immigrated around 1751. His name is listed as Ludwig Colson. Same plot of land was later sold by Lewis Golson. No mention of the name John.
Request you remove John from his find-a-grave site.
Also, we now know via DNA testing that he had patrilinial Jewish heritage.
Look forward to hearing from you.
(Grandmother was a Golson)

Good morning, Laurie,
Thank-you for your quick and courteous response to my transfer request for the Robert James Rainbolt memorial .... The individual who had the other memorial has also transferred his to my care, so I am in unchartered waters here ....
I will have to figure out how to give you both credit for your assistance ... I did not actually ask for the transfer, just wrote him a note explaining the mixup ....
Again, my deepest and sincere gratitude for your
kindness and generosity,
RAINBOLT Family Historian,
R S Feigh

Your memorial is a duplicate of memorial number #
117867313 ..... It was somewhat hard to tell that these memorials were in fact one in the same .... I have only noticed since I am one of the family genealogists .... I was wondering, if I may be so bold, to request a transfer of this memorial to my care ??? I have sent a note to the other memorial manager explaining the dupes / mixups .... NO BIG THING ....
Your memorial has his obit, which the other one does not ...
Thank-you for your assistance in this matter,
as it is genuinely appreciated ....

Laurie, You have done a beautiful of creating a memorial for Rickey Boykin. I would like to ask you to add one more thing on his page, please. As a member on the Board of Directors of the Ridgeway Cemetery Association (Centerville Cemetery) I add the Row and Lot of the deceased when I create a memorial page. Would you please add this to yours as I can't edit your work.
The Row is 17 and the Lot is 18. This will help others in the future to find his resting spot.
