Connie Mogg
14 children
Lynn, Interesting information. On Elizabeth Stapleton Mogg's death certificate 1904 in Lapeer Co. MI, it states she had 14 children with 13 living at that date (1904). I have an Agnes between Margaret and Malcom. Do you have her (Agnes) or know of other children?
Death certificate viewed at "Seeking Michigan" online site.

I haven't found John or wife, Ortensia Small, grave sites. They seem to have had 3 children. I found a birth date reported for John on 1900 census as Jan 1851.

I was editing a quarterly for our local gen. society. Since giving it up, I've been able to go back to my own research.

I have a cardiac Cath on Thurs. Pray for me.

Thanks for joining me in looking for John and Ortensia.

Hi, Lynn, Haven't touched base with you in a long time. I have a correction to add to the George Mogg family. I believe a child is missing. I'm quite sure that Thomas had a twin, John. I have lived in the same apt house as John's grandchild, Verva Mogg Conger. Verva, who turns 98 in a couple of months, now lives with a son about an hour south of the Kansas City area (where I live).

It is a slow time, not many requests.
If you add a memorial for Pauline,
I will post the photos for her also.

Sure, I'll gladly fix it! I don't see either under my managed areas, can you send me the memorial link or any link? Thanks so much.

I am sorry I cannot remove this photo. As I did not add it, the site will not let me remove it.

RE: Mary Jane Bowers Barnes
Wow! That's a lot of Bowers. Thank you. Any idea why Henry seemed to lose his wives and babies in the 1840's? Was there some type of epidemic or just bad luck? His luck seemed to change a bit once he married Alvina. They both lived to old age and celebrated their 50th anniversary and 3 of their 5 children out lived them.

My ancestors are on Seth Barnes side but I find Henry's life interesting.

RE: Mary Jane Bowers Barnes
Thanks for the clarification. I wondered if those dates were in the 1840's but the photo is hard to read.

Henry's death cert says he had 10 children with 3 living at the time of his death and that he was 21 when first married. I knew that Alvina was Mary's step mother because of the census and suspected it was Susannah but the dates didn't work. I've added the link for Henry and will now add Susannah. But I think I will add a note in the bio to clarify.

Do you happen to have the correct dates of his wives and children? I'd like to add that info into my Ancestry tree. Thanks again.

RE: Mary Jane Bowers Barnes
Hi - You indicated that Susannah Bowers 1799-1819 was Mary's mother, however Mary was not born until 1848 and Susannah was already deceased so she could not have been her mother. I believe you have the correct father just not the correct mother. Are you related by chance? Jan

Your welcome Iseamark, I will be going out to the cemetery again soon. Thank you for the info and I will take another look for you. Just wondering if you knew or saw on Samuel Brocks stone it reads also two infant children. I see you have requests that I have been searching for weeks now in Exeter, I didn't realize it was your request till now :)I know I am getting close to finding them, I will be going back there soon and with the info it helps a lot. Thanks Iseamark

Dorothy Smith
Joseph Fanjoy
Joseph Fanjoy who was the s/o William Fanjeaux and Isabella unk. People say her last name was Lyon but that has never been proven.
Joseph was born 1785 in New Brunswick.
1860 minus 1797 equals 1783 And when the Rev War was over many Loyalists in Oct 1783 headed for Canada so Joseph had to have been born possibly in Nov or Dec of 1783,or as I have found b in 1785.
He is my ancestor and I have all of the Fanjeaux/Fanjoux/Fanjoy back to Guyllam Fangue who died in Tours France 1586. I also have the Bunnell's and some history on William the Traveler.

I don't have access to ancestry and Without solid proof I can't add it. Has to be a document with her name not a daughter or other family member . Too many repeats of names to trust it. Have seen many problems because of that.thanks for your help

Added by AngelWings on Apr 14, 2015 3:43 PM

the maiden name did not agree with data I have seen. There are thousands of charlotte coileys so you have to be real careful when entering info. This is why I will not enter without a link where I can see the record. Send a link if you have one

I had some very old Conningsby Cemetery transcripts that I had had for a long time. Once I discovered findagrave, I added what I had. I am sure that there are many people buried there that weren't on the transcripts that I had.

RE: Mary Ann Cadd
Hi Lyn most of the headstones from this cemetery were made into paths when the graves were removed and the site turned into a open area / park. They are faded and a lot were removed due to subsidence. I went and transcribed a lot of them and Plymouth City Council volunteers did the same you can view Mary Ann's headstone here from their archive maybe you will find your other searches there as well. Good Luck
