RE: William Prange

What you say is not the case. No sense wasting my time arguing with you, since you know it all.

I will delete this "duplicate request" BUT I have started to ignore these for one simple reason, they were NOT duplicates when they were created. I spend a lot of time searching the Inglewood F-A-G database before I create a Memorial. Too many members add mass Memorials with no cemeteries, then wait around to find where they are buried. From everything I've read the Memorial with the cemetery and grave location supercedes a "cemetery unknown" Memorial, regardless of dates. F-A-G only asks that the cemetery be checked not the whole universe. As I say, I will delete this, but in the future the duplicate remains. The person who create the "cemetery unknown" should be deleting their Memorial and add info to the other.

Hi Bonnie,

Sounds like you are having fun with Woodlawn. It looks like a good project. It may be a tough sell to people to come out and help but eventually you will get it done (as if there's not enough at Inglewood to keep you busy!)

Do me a favor, when you get a chance drop me a line at Have some stuff I want to discuss with you via email and I know I have your email address somewhere but it is buried amongst thousands of other emails.

The reason I sent it to you is because I really didn't want it but thought I should make the memorial for him while I was doing his mother. And you are "the keeper" of the IPC records. :)

RE: Grace
Thanks. Having to work on my iPad right now so that's probably my problem. Won't be able to come Sunday but I'll look for the event next year. Thank you!

Sorry about the double entry. I must have accidentally hit send twice. Or the system knew I was talking about glitches . . .

RE: Grace Dukeman Stober
My grandparents plaque is similar. I found your memorial because a group of us watch for new memorials with no last name to try and figure them out. Many are created by system glitches when creating new memorials. Some by putting last names in wrong fields. They are hard to find in cems with 10k+ unless you know the search trick. Put 123 in the last name field on the search page and any other limits like state, county, added in last 30 days. Since I live in CA I usually watch here. I also have family in Inglewood so know how to search in their online records. I got lucky finding Grace with a guess on the last name. Have fun retaking the photo.

I was lucky enough to be able to enhance your photo temporarily to read her name and match it to the Inglewood entry for her burial and then find her dates of birth and death. Hope this helps. The photo was still very unclear but enough to read the Stob and find the match.

Hi there! I remember this one too. See how you like this one. #79228453. Needs a photo too!

Thank you so much....the memorial is #34289703...she is my grandpa Milton Aters sister!

RE: George May
No have gone way beyond my expectations already. The reason I was asking you to email me is because my Aters are all in that cemetery and I was wondering if you would see if my cousin ever put a headstone for his mom, my aunt?

Barton gravestones
Thanks, B.J. for your very clear photos of Herbert and Frances Barton's gravestones. He was a doctor, and his great-aunt was Clara Barton. I really appreciate your efforts on my behalf. Pam

RE: Joseph Robertson
I (now) realize that the woman has posted both Joseph T. and Joseph Thomas Robertson, Sr. My Uncle's father, Joseph Thomas Robertson's site has his obit that says he is the son of Zachariah and Hannah Robertson.

It may just be an oversight on her part. I hope she is well and able to help.

RE: Sewards @ Inglewood
I don't need a photo of the other side of that "Seward" stone. I was just curious. It looked like from your photo someone done some digging around Binnie's stone at some point or maybe some heavy scoring with a grass trimmer. I have updated the first wife's entry with a bio. The user's page for the woman who has the entry in NY says she has been having computer troubles and has been playing catch-up. Interesting idea about the veteran's marker. I had inquired at a number of his old churches in California asking for a photograph of him, but I haven't had any luck with that so far. Thanks again for everything.

Thank you so much for your time. I am in touch with his great grandson and will ask about this Anna Moe...thank you for adding her. Could you write me at my email so I can ask a favor of you? Please delete this message so my email is gone!

Thanks very much for photographing the area. I always like to know where my distant cousins' final resting places are even if there are no markers.

RE: Sewards @ Inglewood
Thank you for fulfilling my request. I became interested in Seward when a Civil War historian contacted me about the skirmish that occurred near Ghent on my ancestor's farm. It's mentioned in the entry. Does the stone say anything on the other side? Does it also say "Seward" or is it blank? It looks like Binnie's stone has been cleared off. Did you do that? I wonder if there could be stones for Seward and his wife that have been grassed over. I sent a note to the manager of the New York entry some times ago. I never heard anything back. Thanks again for fulfilling my request.

RE: Joseph Robertson
Thanks for your help.

I hope the person who has the site for my Uncle Bill's father (Joseph Thomas Robertson,Sr.) will respond favorably to my edit recommendation as the Joseph T. Robertson she has posted is not the son of Zachariah and Hannah Leek Robertson.

I have found other incorrect information that he/she has posted for the Robertson family and have made edit recommendations.

I thank you again,

I just read that I should get a plot number before requesting a photo. Would you like me to do that? Thanks for your time!
