RE: Henry Bauer # 114738892
Thank you so much for following-up on the marker for SGT Bauer. Thanks also to Joan Francis at Inglewood for researching this. I'm not sure how this marker appeared but at least it's been located. Regards. ALLEN - 11th ACR - Vietnam

RE: Woods - photo request
I am looking for James Alfred Woods or Nellie Woods. I can't find them on the cemetery record, but relatives tell me they are buried at this cemetery.
Thanks for your help!

RE: Kenny Teneyck‏
Thanks Bonnie.
Can you also change his name to Kenneth? Kenny was a nickname. Its odd that they have the name Kenny imprinted at the cemetery.
Ken was my first boyfriend. I just ran across the photo I posted today. I was about 19.

How about jus transferring him and his brother Cory to me?

RE: Mary Blake and all the Mac/McQuarries
Cheryl became interested in family history first, so she set up the first accounts. Her family has many more interesting facts and relationships than my side. She is the side of our duo and I am the findagrave-obituary research side.
The Lenfest side of my family is the most interesting, having originated on the Isle of Guernsey, coming to Maine in the 1790's.
We make a good investigative team, and attempt to go beyond what other people have in their family trees to be as sure as possible that we are accurate in what we are publishing. We couldn't do that if it were not for assistance from others such as yourself.

Mary Blake and all the Mac/McQuarries
WOW...thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty here. Mary was a daughter of Katherine MacQuarrie. Her first husband was Edmund Augustus Lenfest, whose grandfather was a brother of my GG Grandmother. Her family moved to Massachusetts from Canada, and it does appear that Katherine's MAIDEN name and MARRIED name may both have been MacQuarrie. Her death record says her father's name was Angus MacQuarrie.
I knew in the 1940 census that Mary had re-married and divorced a 2nd husband and was living with Katherine as Mary Blake. I also knew some of the MacQuarries were buried in Inglewood, but the only Mary Blake there (this one) died in 1975, but there was no California Death Record to help me know if this was THE Mary Blake I was looking for. After finding an obit for Mary & Edmund's daughter, Thelma, it said she was survived by a sister in Georgia. And a Mary Blake passed away in Georgia three days before the burial in Inglewood.
If the Inglewood Mary was buried next to other MacQuarries, I then knew this was THE Mary I was looking for, and you have verified that.
NOW, I have much more work to do figuring out the name spellings, but I relish the opportunity, and thank you, again, for all you have provided.

RE: Sidney Calof
BJ I am sorry, I had his birth pulled up on Manitoba's index seperate, then this morning I ran all Calof's in Winnipeg and it came up with dates European style and I realized 2/12 meant Dec 2nd.

If your coworker is interested in a family book written by Sid's sister, please have them e-mail me, I have much to share.
Again sorry for the misread on the date.

Thank you again for everything! James restored the photo of Gram & we really love it!! It didn't change the age of the photo, nor did it hurt it. It's touched my heart that you all are helping us find that void & fill it with happiness. Thank you, thank you again!!!! Eraina Hamilton

AHA! That's probably why there was never a headstone. I'll pray.

Are you the same person who was known as "Arizona Bill" by his Osborne cousins?
Just checking. Thanks, Jim

RE: Helen Ross (d. 1947)

Thanks for including this shot without headstone.
I feel bad that her grave was never marked. Both parents had died in the preceeding two years. I have written the cemetery to see if I can rectify it.
Bless you,

RE: Baileys
Hi B.J.!
Yes, got away from doing them when work picked back up and I got too busy. Also, seems alot more competitive to claim them now. Maybe I will get back to doing some in the future. Have been working on supplementals for my Mom for DAR.
Talk soon,

I don't see on your profile. Is it ok for us to use the pictures you take? i.e. the picture you took for me of Charles Raher's stone?

Well thank you ever so much! I also thank you for the transfer of Gram.
I thought that the gentleman would of needed the original photo. It's amazing what can be done now a days.
Mom & Dad visited Inglewood Cemetery about 10 yrs ago, going to one of their class reunions, but I didn't know they were going to stop by & they didn't think to get photos. That would be so nice. If you don't get the chance, I appreciate all that you've done, thank you, Eraina
