Leo Betz
I was researching a specific branch of my family when I landed on the FindAGrave page for Leo Betz. Didn't know anything about FindAGrave and it didn't click right away when I read that he was your great-grandfather. I thought...that's interesting...he's my great-grandfather, too! Anyway, once I got my bearings I realized you were Leopold's granddaughter...I'm his sister Helen's granddaughter. I have some info I'd like to add/correct on Helen's memorial...still not sure what is the best way to do this.

Mahlon Clark
I don't have an actual copy of his obit. I believe that when I read the newspaper microfilm, I just took a brief note. However, I will be at the New Castle Library within the next several weeks and will endeavor to obtain a transcript for you. I don't have the facility to sent a picture of the obit, but I can do a transcription. Paul Myers

Maj. Andrew A. Barna # 34904883
Today, based on documents that I have found I have definitively determined that Maj. Barna is in fact my wife's Uncle. If you would be so kind, I would like to accept management of his Memorial. Would you be so kind as to transfer the Memorial to me.. Thanks for your consideration

No, problem. I had forgotten about it and had to look her up to remember the facts. When I did I found she needs to be in the Liberty Baptist Church Community Cemetery in Mossy Creek, White County. Cemetery number 2375562. My problem. I should have told you White County. There are two cemeteries there, one behind the church and one along side the church. There were many people in the wrong one. Thanks for helping getting them all correct.

Now I wonder who made the error. The person who wrote the obit? or the person who buried her? Someone was wrong. The photos don't lie!!

Hello,
I see that you maintain Joseph Basler 44120773. I've added a couple of photos and would like to one of his parents. There are 2 of his headstone that are the same. Can you please remove the smaller one and I'll load one up.
Thanks

Andrew A Barna #34904883
I see that you are maintaining the Memorial for Andrew A. Barna, in Arlington National Cemetery. Are you related to Major Barna? Why I ask is that my wife is the niece of a Major Andrew Barna that was killed during WWII supposedly in China. I am attempting to find out information on this Major Barna. Can you provide any assistance?

Thanks for your consideration

Pam,

I don't want the transfer. I just offered to move her to the correct cemetery because it is a different procedure that most people have never done and they are unfamiliar with. I did two others for the same cemetery today and then transferred the memorial back to the original creator. I have discovered if I don't offer to make the correction myself it may never get done. Just trying to be helpful. Theron...

Photos for Jeff Shelton
Hey, On the memorial of Jeff Shelton at Bethel Baptist Church Cemeterey in Dawsonville, Ga you added photos of Jeff's grave. We live very close to there and went over to find the grave. That is my wifes 3x great grandfather. We was unableto locate the grave and was wondering if you would happen to remember where it was at since you took the photo. Theres also a New Bethel Church Cemtery not far from Bethel, I was also wondering if it could have been at that cemetery where the grave was. Thank you, Greg

Paul H Hoffman
Hi, the memorial page #34093621 is not Paul H Hoffman born in New Jersey, died in Missouri. It is Paul Edward Hoffman, born and died in Pawnee County, Nebraska. His parents are Leonhardt and Margaretha Gottula Hoffman who were both born in Germany. That is the Paul Hoffman who was married to Freda Sommerhalder. His WWI Draft Registration is in Pawnee County, Nebraska. His name is typed and signed Paul Edward Hoffman. In several of the Census reports he is listed as Paul E Hoffman. I have made the suggested corrections to the memorial page, but wanted to give you a heads up, in case Paul H Hoffman is a relative of yours and you want to find his real grave. Thanks.
