Thank you for marriage date for cousin Alvin. I do not put this on grave memorials, typically, but I enter into a database on RootsWeb named:

Thank you for the lead on Robert's parents
His parents: Roy & Helen Faulkner Shroyer's marriage ended prior to 1917 either by divorce or death. Roy listed himself as single in the WWI draft registration and he also remarried in 1917.

I see that you created the memorial for Lula Markley Flack, #68659608. I was wondering if you would like to add a credit for Lu's compilation (her choice of word, I would have said author) of the book Ferdinand and the Zessin Nine. It is a history of the Zessin family.
Also, do you know the burial sites of Lu's brothers Alfred and Sefer? I would like to create memorials for them but I don't know where they're buried.
Thanks for your help and for creating Lula's memorial.

|wanda nitterhouse||RE: Margaret Palmer Keefer|
Right - I forgot I had seen Margaret as Moses' wife.
I did get to the historical society in Chambersburg today and verified that Elizabeth Sager Keefer is Raymond's sister. I also saw that Margaret Rossman Keefer is buried in the same plot (G209, 210) as Raymond's parents. She died in 1961 and is listed on findagrave. She could be the Margaret R that is his wife. I found no record of his marriage to her. She died in 1961 and he married Rowena in 1962. You could order Margaret's death certificate for $5 tosee if he is listed as her spouse. Let me know if you need the link info to the state death index, etc.

|wanda nitterhouse||Raymond Keefer|
Just checked (on-line) the Jim Houpt Index of Franklin County burials. It shows that Charles Dewalt Keefer has an Elizabeth Sager Keefer and a Margaret E Palmer Keefer listed on the same page in the Cedar Grove Cemetery book. I am guessing they are his Raymomd's sister and 1st wife. Elizabeth Sager Keefer is on findagrave. I have not looked for Margaret on findagrave yet.
I will, as I said in the earlier email, check in Chambersburg some time I go down. I can check the Cedar Grove book and other files at the historical society. I am going down tomorrow, but not sure I will get to the historical society.

I have found that Raymond's 2d wife was Rowena Belden. I found their marriage record on ancestry.com. I will check in Chambersburg sometime for Margaret's maiden name. I often go to the historical society there.
Do you know if his sister ever married and what the "S" in her middle name is for? I found an Elizabeth Sager Keefer on findagrave and also a social security death record on ancestry for an Elizabeth Keefer. I forget the year - I think it was 1978. I will check again.

|MarjisAngels||Jane Gault Flack and Jane Flack Gault|
When we were doing the Gault project we were unable to connect the 2 Gault lines. The one who was married to Gault was in a different line or was evidently connected prior to coming to America.
The second one, Jane Gault 1760-1823 who married John A Flack is connected to my Gault line and I have much on their descendants. This is what was written in the book. This is in our Vol 2
"The inclusion of Jane Gault, d/o James Gault md to John A Flack stems basically from the bio that says she was a native of Canonsburg. This is the only Gault recorded in this area. Jane appears in the extract of the will of James Gault - md name not given.
The other Jane [Flack] Gault 2nd wife of Alexander appears in our Vol 1.
Though we were able to connect a lot of dots, this one eluded us. With the names being duplicated and being in much the same area, it looks like we would have found a connection but we did not. Indeed we concluded that if there was a connection it was before their arrival in Washington Co, PA which was very early on.
I am not showing any offspring of the children of Alexander Gault and Jane Flack. Neither Mary Jane or Margaret Adaline married. And I have nothing on either Robert or Alexander.
Sure wish I could be of help in your mystery. I think it might also help unravel mine.

|MarjisAngels||Mary Jane Gault|
Thanks for the heads-up. I have linked her to her father and also linked Alexander and 1st wife Mary. I added bio info re. the children on Alexander's memorial for both wives. Would love to know the burial for Jane Flack Gault.
In 2007 a group of Gault researchers spent about 3 1/2 years on a Gault of SW PA connections project. Volume 2 has extensive information on a Jane Gault who married John A Flack 1758-1832. Jack Moselle has an excellent ged.com on rootsweb which you are probably aware. The Gault book is still available for $20. If you have any interest I can give you the name of the person to contact.

I took a look at the headstone, and it is hard to read, but 1785 seems like what it might be showing so I went ahead and made the change to her profile.
Let me know if you have any other corrections or any information on this family.
