John Camp of Hartford
Re: # 134856535

You have John Camp of Hartford being one of the twin sons of Nicholas Camp of Milford. I have seen no documentary evidence of this and the source of families of early Milford, Susan Abbott, does not mention this. I'm very skeptical since this family was so studied and Sarah was the first death in Milford, so I believe that if John of Hartford were the John Camp born to Nicholas and Sarah, this would be widely known.

All the sources of John of Hartford I have seen given no known parents for him.

You're welcome, Jim. I was pleasantly surprised to find a stone that old in such good shape. Many of the stones of that vintage in Grand Detour Cemetery are illegible.

Betsey Coleman Camp
You might want to link Betsey to her parents: Reuben Coleman & Jane Scott Coleman. Both buried in PA. Reuben #37224726 and Jane #37224765. Lots of information on both memorial pages. I also have a Camp ancestor. Thanks much.

Jim,
I had requested a tombstone picture for Mildred Camp Warner and her son. Picture is not attached. Find A Grave Memorial# 50120448. Did you ever find out who her husband was?

You are very welcome. I still have not found Frank P., but I found these two names on the left side of the monument for Asa and Mary Ann Woodward Camp:

Milton D # 136293794
Luella A # 136293787

Please let me know if you would like these too or if you have information that you think I should add.

Best wishes as always.

RE: Sarah R. Waterman Camp
Hi!

I will keep my eyes open for Frank's gravestone, but I have not seen it yet. When I went back today to get a better photo of Rosina Waterman's gravestone, I found two more Camp-related markers.

One:
Isaac Camp # 136218422
Grace Gould Camp # 136218434
Blanche Gould # 136218452

Two:
Roswell Hayes # 136217124
Susan Camp Hayes # 136217137
Florence Hayes # 136217147

I would be more than pleased to add any information that you have on any of these individuals. Or if you let me know, I am happy to transfer family members to you for you to add information.

I will let the map sit for now. Should anyone ask though, it was prepared for the Town of Hanover (no copyright) and not a genealogy.

Cheers!

Camps of Etna, NH
Hi!

Thank you for all the great photos of the Camp family in the Etna, NH cemetery. Recently some work was done there, and I found two more members of the family:

Sarah R, wife of Frank P Camp, Find A Grave Memorial# 136139841

Emma E Camp Waterman, Find A Grave Memorial# 136139468

If you happen to have any information on these two women, I would love to add it. I am not related and have no information other than what is on the stones.

Best wishes.

Winfield S. Camp
Jim, According to the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Index there is a Winfield S Camp buried 4/5/1902 in section 20, lot 384, plot 2 and a Winfield S Camp Sr buried 4/2/1903 in section 20, lot 384, plot 3. What would you like me to do? Are they the same?

Medea Camp
Jim,
Do you have any other information on Medea Stevens Camp. I am trying to find an official link to Asa Stevens who I have as her father. I see you also have that info. I am also trying to officially link her to her son Dennison Camp. Census records for Clark Camp only indicate the number of males and females in the house in 1840. I found Dennison when he was 12 living with another family (Riddlesbarger) in Iowa. Any help would be appreciated. I believe I have written you before. I am the granddaughter of Laura Camp Welch. Her parents and grandparents along with sisters and brothers are buried in the cemetary in Cleo Springs Ok.
Thanks,
Cindy King
