I have finished my personal project to digitize Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Linden, NJ! It took just over four years. I entered all legible burials from the old record book between 1911 and 1977. I also photographed and created memorials for the entire cemetery up to late 2023. Many requests remaining are unmarked or illegible but I will double check them when I am in the area as I'm only human and invariably missed a few. Stillbirths and young children were often buried unmarked and free of charge along the fence behind the war memorial. *The current management of the cemetery has plots and areas lettered and numbered differently than pre-1978.*

I was trying to fulfill requests from Woodlawn in Norfolk, VA and was told without family permission, they can't give me grave locations because they're corporate run (SCI). Cemeteries are public places though?! If you have a request and know the grave location, reach out to me and I will take the photo for you. Otherwise you can find me wandering aimlessly taking photos to help digitize the cemetery!
