I am descended from Elisha Jefferson Rhoades (Jeff) through EJR (Lish), Trudie Rhoades Walker, Grover Charles Walker (my father).
I have, as have others, attempted to find his grave. My understanding was after the family's move to Austin from Arkansas c.1861 that he died in 62 or 63. There is no record in any cemeteries in Austin or Travis County.
I searched in the Austin Historical Society's library in an original Record of Death index. His name is not there. They suggested contacting Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home since they absorbed some of the earlier funeral homes & might possess some of their record books. I am doing this presently.
If you have any leads, I would appreciate it,

I really don't know where she is I have been recording families in Cleburne Memorial and on the Timms family I have found they were very interesting and I have located the obits and added. I hope this help future families. Do you know what city Virgina lived in just let me know and ill do some research.
