Andrew, I see you are maintaining Daniel Gerland's memorial page. Being a Gerland who grew up in St. Louis about the same time, I would like to learn as much as possible about Daniel.
I would appreciate receiving any additional information, about Daniel, that you may have. You can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org

|Katie||Leta and Jesse|
Hi, I had such a horrible time with that contributor!! And also asked them to remove the photo, which another contributor and I had decided was your photo...That is so rude to "steal" pictures...
As you saw from the bio for Jesse, I called both Cemeteries and found out where he really is.
That really upset me, because as you know a lot of people have two stones, due to different reasons. I have an Aunt that does.
Maybe I can make a request to get his actual stone added.
THANK YOU SO MUCH....and sorry they did that to you...

Leta Sisco Nelson and Jesse Jean Nelson
I have been contacted by two other contributors about her husband Jesse. One almost demanded that I remove him from the Cemetery where he is and put him with Leta. I have called BOTH cemeteries and confirmed he is indeed buried in California.
Always has been.... The problem began with Leta's tombstone, since it has his name on it too.
I have seen other stones with both names and dates, but one spouse really may not be there, WHY this got so crazy is beyond me.
Is there some way you can crop his name?
I also contacted the contributor for Leta to let her know about the confirmation.
Thank you so much....

Thanks Andrew, for your time and effort in obtaining the photo of Leta Mae's headstone as it showed an error in where her husband was buried...In this case, a picture truly is worth a thousand words....Thanks again, Don

Do you have any idea why Rose doesn't have a marker? In other words-did she have one but it disappeared? I appreciate you taking the time to do those photographs. If you think you should re-take them its up to you. I respect people who like to do a very good job!

THANK YOU for photographing the graves of Joseph and Theresa Wiesinger and their daughters in Memorial Park in St. Louis. Joseph and Theresa are my great great grandparents. I don't live nearby and this might be the only "visit" I will ever have with them. You reported that Rosa Wiesinger had no marker. Does this mean she is buried there but they didn't put a headstone? Or is it some other issue? The cemetery assured me she was buried there. I didn't know people buried someone without a marker of some sort!
