I delete when they are of equal or better quality, I am not into fighting about deleteing unless mine is first and obviously I found more information for the memorial.

Gene Snyder lived about a mile south of Uniontown on the farm that John (?) Wise bought before 1820.

RE: Pontius in Greentown
Barbara Zebolt, mother of Barbara Auble who married John Wise was a sister of my ancestor Christopher Seebold. Also, Catherine Bolender who married Samuel Wise (bur. Greenlawn) was a second cousin of my ancestor Frederick Bowersox whose mother was Magdalena Bolender. I visited Stark County on a couple occasions to do research and stayed with the late Gene Snyder who was also descended from Wises. Did you know Gene?

D. Delzell
Kirk McClain Family
Jason,
Thank you for adding the info I sent for my great great Grandfather Kirk McClain. I loved walking the farm he had thinking of how it was when he was alive. Thank you for connecting his 4 children to Kirk McClain page. I still have hopes of some day finding his parents as he was young when they died in Pennsylvania. He had a brother too. Last week when I went to my Uncle's funeral in Canfield, Ohio we stopped in Damascus, OH. I was telling the lady from the Damascus Historical Society about the wagon that was sold at the Fred Delzell estate auction. My great Uncle Fred Delzell said his grandfather used the wagon to transport runaway slaves to the next place on the underground railroad.

S. Mary McClain birth day would be Nov 14, 1862 according to the headstone dates you have listed.

Thanks so much for the work on the McClain's. Nice surprise to see them connected on my birthday today.

Ross Adam Wood Sr.
Sarah Wood Hopson
I was hoping you would make the updates on Sarah linking her with her parents, John and Huldah Wood. I have researched the census data and Huldah lived with Sarah for a while when they were both widows, Sarah's relationship was listed as daughter to Huldah who was head of household. Later Sarah served as a nurse to her invalid mother while boarding with another sister in Brant, NY.

P.S. Of course if you would like to transfer Sarah to my care it would facilitate my expansion of her bio to show family connection, thanks either way.

Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

info on John Neidig
Jason:
You submitted an entry for John Neidig in Motts Cemetery, Osnaburg, Stark, Ohio. He is linked to a Catherine Neidigh Haynam as his daughter. Do you have any additional information that would explain this link? Neidig is one of my family names and I'm trying to get more information. Thank you for your help.
