RE: Caroline Augusta Brigham Curtis
Lewis,
Caroline is the mother-in-law of my great grand uncle, Charles Samuel Foster. I wish I knew where all the descendants are buried.

RE: Henry Harris Clark
Hello! I am planning a trip to Quebec this early fall. I will keep you in mind as I visit the Dunham cemetery. It is a very old cemetery and I know where the Clarks are located. I plan on taking pictures of all the Clark stones.

RE: Page Family
Hello, Sorry I do not know of Sarah (Tyler) Clark or half sister Ella who married Clarence Page. They are not in my tree. My Page family is from Chicopee, MA and Upton, Quebec.

RE: John Curtis 1710 to 1800
Hello Lewis,

There are many reasons someone creates a site. I personally am trying to document the small csemteries in my area, I also am documenting my family. I will also add stone I find interesting when I am out trying to fill a "Find a Grave" request. Whatever the reason, the rules of the site state whoever creates the site first is the owner of the site.

I have asked for transfer of the management of sites, I have also received requests for transfers. In all cases I have found the community very willing to help others and all transfers were made.

I would suggest you send the ower of the site a request for tranfer and/or a suggestion to add the additional information you want to add. Wait a few weeks and see what happens, if nothing the remake the request. Quite a few people work on "Find a Grave" intermittingly, or may be on vacation or otherwise indisposed.

If after a few months of no response, then you may want to contact "Find a Grave" management about the changes you would like to make.

Regards, Bill

Good, I do hope that you and Bill can work it out.

I also have a Curtis line. Mine goes back to John in Wethersfield and Stratford, CT in 1639/40 and then back to William Curtis in England. Happy ancestor hunting. ASB

Hello Lewis,

Two problems with your propsal.

One, the link with her daughter Hulda would be lost.

Two, the photos I added are better.

I suggest you delete the duplicate site and link her sons to the original site.

Regards, Bill

No Way am I asking someone in the "right" to remove their memorial. I would refer you to the section in Contributor tools entitled "Why are there multiple memorials for the same individual? How does Find A Grave handle duplicate memorials?"

The correct thing for you to have done would be to ask Bill Warner to transfer his memorial to you (then make your updates and connections to his) Or ASk him to make the updates and the connections you want.

RE: John A. Covode search on WMGS.org
Lewis,

I trust things are well with you and your family. I've been finding a lot more business connections with the Blairs, Covodes and my family Powers. Will share once I pull it together.

Thought you might be interested to learn sometime last year (Aug 2010) the City of Grand Rapids put a database online of all those buried in the city cemeteries. It doesn't include church cemeteries. Here's the link... http://cemetery.grcity.us/burial_search

I did a search and found they spelled Covode... Cavode... Blair is there as well...

I have a crew still searching for the original 1915 film Blissvelt Romance. It may possibly still be with the film house that created a film contact. They moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania nearly 20 years ago. Will keep you informed. Still wanting to get it digitally transferred to HighDef.

RE: Richard W. Seville
Hi Lewis,

Thank you so much for creating and managing Richard's memorial. I created the memorial for his respected grandfather who also deserved recognition on Find A Grave.

I have been very interested in genealogy for many years and Find A Grave is one of the best sites to share information. I have also become very interested in ensuring all my family member grave sites are entered here.

Best Regards,

Don

I'll take a look the next time I'm in Southbridge.

I don't get there often, but every now and then I pass through.

RE: Isaac Putnam 1698 - 1757
Hello Cousin Lewis,

Yes I am related to the Putnams. I also descend from Isaac through his son Asaph (who married Sarah Park), then Jonas, then Ephron, then Eliza (1809-1883), my great-great-great-great grandmother. I think this would make us 8th cousins?

All I have on Nathan son of Isaac is that he was born in Sutton on October 24, 1730. Other than that, I have nothing else. Of course, I have not yet worked on Asaph's brothers and sisters as of yet.

You can e-mail me at andrewkolstee@windstream.net

Did you call the cemetery? The Operations Office phone is 508-764-5433 and the Administration Office phone is 508-764-5403. They should be able to tell you.

Lewis,

It is possible he is buried there but they never put a stone up, I found that to be the case with one of my great grand fathers.

Hello Lewis,

I'll stop by and check but I don't expect to find it. He isn't listed in the Curtis cemetery listing on "American Ancestors" and his death is not listed in Dudley but Southbridge.

James Blair
Lewis, In my research at the Grand Rapids Public Library I've come across some James Blair material. One of the items is a glass slide that you may get a print. Jim

PS. Still researching and trying to get funding to have a high resolution film transfer to DVD/Blu-ray for The Blissveldt Romance.
