Bio

I have been interested in genealogy for almost 40 years, starting with just wanting to know my ancestors' names and the years of their birth and death. It progresses from there, until finally, you want to know as much about your ancestors as possible. That includes knowing where their final resting place is so that you can complete their life story. I feel this spot is a very special place; either it is where they were when they died, or it is a place that meant something to them. It is a place to reflect on who that person was, and what they have passed down and shared with you. While some of your ancestors are nearer and dearer to your heart and don't require a special place to bring them to mind, others are not as well known, and being able to know and see where they are helps. Thank you, Find A Grave and all the wonderful volunteers, for helping people to connect!
