Thank you for your kind words! I taught at St. Mary's for one year before the school closed, so the Sisters have a special place in my heart. I add memorials for them whenever I can. Anytime you have information to add, please forward it. And of course, the offer stands. Anytime you see a memorial you'd like transferred, just let me know. I always transfer to friends and family unless the memorial is part of my tree!

|Jeffrey LeTempt||Duncan Stewart Fults Correction|
Thank you Michael for all the work you have done. Like you, I have got the genealogy bug...bad lately. I wanted to point out an error on the entry for my great grandfather, Duncan Stewart Fults. His father's information is correct, but the mother you have listed is actually his grandmother. It can be confusing with the Fults name because there were so many Jacob Fults. Duncan's mother was actually Caroline Kline-Fults. She lived from 1840-1929, but I cannot find anything on her on findagrave.com.

Hello Michael, Its great to hear from you. Hope you and your family had a good Christmas and New Year.
I'm hoping to find some photos of the Whalen Family and the pool hall-saloon that was in Hoxie. I have an old postcard of the Hoxie Business that were on Texas Street ( main street in Hoxie ) from the early 1900's, but the quality of the photo is not good. I have seen Pat Whalen Bottles, but I don't have one. They are very rare and expense to buy.
Email me and I will send some scans of bottle and the old postcard.

Thank you for adding a picture of my daughters grave site. I have one but just never put it on but I do appreciate you doing it. I happen to come on here and look for my dads and seen you had posted the picture.

Hello Michael, I notice that Pat Whalen was your GGF. I'm in the process of doing a history of Hoxie, Arkansas and trying to find some information on him. He had a pool hall-saloon and a bottling company in Hoxie.

Wondering whether you're related to this family, since you posted the memorial. He was the son of Jacob and Caroline.
I only ask because his godparents were Sebastian and Catherine Maurer, my 3rd-great-grandparents and I was trying to figure out what the connection was.
They came from Montbronn, in the Lorraine area of France. Since LaCroix is French, wondered whether any of them were connected in the Old Country, or whether they just became good friends once here.
Don't know if there are any other crossovers. I'll have to look at dates and christenings for the other kids you've got.

Found the missing link. She is the sister to my husbands great grandmother. Jennie, Julia Antoinete and Mary Amand Mareschal were sisters and they have a brother Francis (Frank). Still looking for him. Found the probate records of Louis M. Mareschal. Of course the e should have a ' over it to be correct. Did you send me a photo of a headstone for Louis Marishal? Someone did and now I can't find it. Over the years Mareschal was changed over to Marshal. Hope this helps you in your searches.

Thanks for the info. You are just down the road from Oakdale and Mt. Olive. It seems that is where most of the family is buried. They were all residents of Carondolete. Thanks again, will try to get over there when it gets warmer than 30 degrees.

Hi. Have been doing family searching. As you know it can consume a lot of time. What is your relationship to them. I think that Mary may be the sister to my husbands greatgrandmother Jennie E. Marshall. The problem comes in when you check out the original spelling, I beleive that it is Marechal. My husband is a Eichelberger, greatgrandson of Guard/Garnder/Guardner/Guardies Eichelberger husband to Jennie E Eichelberger, nee Marshall. To the best of my knowledge they are both buried at Mt. Olive. Need to take a day and take pictures of all the relatives buried there. Have been making a list so that I will be prepared. Looking forward to hear back from you. We live on the Illinois side also. If it is Marechal then it goes back to Fort Charters, Fort Kaskaskia and Cahokia, all areas that you would be familier with.

Thank you for your help Michael. This problem grew way out of proportion in my considered opinion. However, everyone involved was trying to do what is right. Sometimes what is right isn't always without a little grief and effort.
Thanks again for what you've done. I believe we've all worked it out to anyone who is interested in Dorthy's family's best interest now.

|Chuck Nowotny||Alert to Duplicate Find A Grave Memorials # 58130216 and another # 10621583|
I was filling in some branches on my families tree and I found that somehow two contributors had inadvertently created a dupicate of Dorothy Welsch Thiele Hergenroeder's Find a Grave Memorial. Dorothy is my maternal 2nd cousin
Michael There is your Memorial and another by Sam
Find A Grave Memorial# 10621583
The older one by SAm is listed was created by Sam in 2005. It however was not as complete as your Memorial as it has no photograph of the marker. I find that both are lacking some facts such as the Obituary I sent you earlierby email. Mr. Pasquin has refused to delete his part of the duplicate memorial as can be fully understood.
Mike, is should be noted that I've already sent a suggested correction to you and the other contributor earlier Sam updated his Memorial to update the connections between Dorothy and her two husbands etc. However he has no photo of the stone which your Memorial does.
I could fix the error if you'd allow me to use your photo on the Site Created by Sam. Or if you could post your photo of Cletus and Dorothy's headstone on his site. Then possibly remove or delete your's ????
I am only trying to clean up the issue for family researchers who can get the two sites confused.
Again, The family relation ship to me is not that distant but it does not fall into the generally acceptable transferrable catagory so that I why I don't ask for transfer to my name.
The final memorial should read:
Dorothy Welsch (Thiele) Hergenroeder
Birth: Sep. 24, 1919
Death: Mar. 3, 2005
Saint Paul Evangelical Burial Park
Created by: Sam Pasquin
Find A Grave Memorial# 10621583
First Husband was: Cletus J. Welsch Find A Grave Memorial# 46880384
Second Husband was: Homer W. Hergenroeder Find A Grave Memorial# 15414390

Mike, I appreciate your comments. I am sure I am related to all the Mosbacher's in Monroe County, just have to find the keystone to bring them together, but I assume that I will end up in Deidsheim Germany where my Stauder & Mosbacher families both collected.
Thanks for all your work.

Henry is my gr grandfather buried at Mount Olive Cemetery, Lemay, MO. My wife and I purchased the marker when we found the unmarked grave. I would like to add more info to the memorial. You can transfer it to me or I will supply the info to you if you prefer. Are you related?
Henry's father is Gerhard Anton Specking, b 1820 Coesfeld Germany, who arived in St Louis area in 1855 and died in 1857. I have not been able to find out any specific info on his death. If you run across anything about him, I would appreciate the information.
Thanks for all of your efforts.
