Lula? Is that what Lillie was called? Lillie Pirrmann Cunningham was the sister of my great - great-grandfather, Joseph Pirrmann. At the time of his death he was Vice - President of Falls City Brewery.He also owned a saloon that was on the site of The Galt House Hotel.

You are welcome David. Always glad I can help you. After all, one of your Willman relatives married the son of my relative, Lillie Louise Pirrmann Cunningham.

Anytime you want to see if someone is buried in Cave Hill you can go to their site, cavehillcemetery.com and search. I like to use just the surname so I see all those with that name. Find some treasures that way.

I agree that he was cremated. The area of the cemetery is very close together and would only accommodate cremated remains.

|Rob M||Jacob Rothfuss|
I've asked that Mr Rothfuss' memorial be moved back to National. Sorry for my part of the confusion. I should have kept mum until I had field checked everywhere there was to check. The records for these two cemeteries are really screwy.

I found Jacob & Minnie. There are two plots with exactly the same ID# in different parts of the Section C in Cave Hill National. There is no one buried in the plot they are listed for in Cave Hill Cemetery, which is next door to National.

Someone else is buried at the location provided in Cave Hill National Cemetery. Mr & Mrs Rothfuss are actually buried in Section C, Lot 2 in Cave Hill Cemetery, not Cave Hill National. Needs to be moved to the correct cemetery. Gravelocator is wrong. If I can't get to the site in the near future, someone else will.

the website indicates no marker for any of the 3 in that lot, however, it may have been added and it did not get updated.

|texnative||RE: James Trace|
Great information. I haven't had time to enter it into my tree yet, but can hardly wait to do so. We have made some fantastic family discoveries while searching for people that we made memorials for that we thought we didn't know. The 6 Athens county cemeteries that we completely photographed are filled with people who are mostly related in some way. There is so much history there to save. Thank you so much!

It is James Trace's mother, Henrietta, whose maiden name I have not yet figured out. James's daughter Lola "Goldie" Trace married my Zimmer grand uncle, Charles A. Zimmer. The Trace family is attached through marriage to many others in my family tree, and I have been working on all of these connections for about 2 years now.

Thanks for the link to James's father, Frederick Trace. I linked them and also upgraded his headstone photo. The first one we took was back when Find A Grave allowed only very low resolution! Appreciate the help and wish we knew for certain who his mother was.

|B.J. Waters||Matilda and Ella Tracey|
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo requests and just wanted you to know that buried next to Ella is Clara E. Cox. The style of Clara's headstone is the same as Matilda and Ella, and the inscription says "sister". Maybe she was Ella's sister? Anyway I created a memorial for her and added photos. If this info is not helpful to you, maybe it will be to someone else, someday.

Sorry but I do not have a picture of the Chapel. I don't remember ever seeing it. My dad was buried at St. Michael when I was eight but as an eight year old, that is something that I did not notice.
Sorry I could not help you.

|Jenny E.||Charles Straub photo request|
I was at Spring Grove cemetery this past weekend to take a photo of Charles Straub's marker for you. There is no individual marker for him in Section 72 Lot 162. There is a monument in this lot for the Lawhead family. Mr. Straub's interment record says that he is the brother-in-law of the lot owner - Jennie Lawhead. The monument does not have his name listed on it. But, if you'd like I will post it to his memorial.
