the website indicates no marker for any of the 3 in that lot, however, it may have been added and it did not get updated.

|texnative||RE: James Trace|
Great information. I haven't had time to enter it into my tree yet, but can hardly wait to do so. We have made some fantastic family discoveries while searching for people that we made memorials for that we thought we didn't know. The 6 Athens county cemeteries that we completely photographed are filled with people who are mostly related in some way. There is so much history there to save. Thank you so much!

It is James Trace's mother, Henrietta, whose maiden name I have not yet figured out. James's daughter Lola "Goldie" Trace married my Zimmer grand uncle, Charles A. Zimmer. The Trace family is attached through marriage to many others in my family tree, and I have been working on all of these connections for about 2 years now.

Thanks for the link to James's father, Frederick Trace. I linked them and also upgraded his headstone photo. The first one we took was back when Find A Grave allowed only very low resolution! Appreciate the help and wish we knew for certain who his mother was.

|B.J. Waters||Matilda and Ella Tracey|
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo requests and just wanted you to know that buried next to Ella is Clara E. Cox. The style of Clara's headstone is the same as Matilda and Ella, and the inscription says "sister". Maybe she was Ella's sister? Anyway I created a memorial for her and added photos. If this info is not helpful to you, maybe it will be to someone else, someday.

Sorry but I do not have a picture of the Chapel. I don't remember ever seeing it. My dad was buried at St. Michael when I was eight but as an eight year old, that is something that I did not notice.
Sorry I could not help you.

|Jenny E.||Charles Straub photo request|
I was at Spring Grove cemetery this past weekend to take a photo of Charles Straub's marker for you. There is no individual marker for him in Section 72 Lot 162. There is a monument in this lot for the Lawhead family. Mr. Straub's interment record says that he is the brother-in-law of the lot owner - Jennie Lawhead. The monument does not have his name listed on it. But, if you'd like I will post it to his memorial.

The location I was given for Anna Gutman apparently was for her mother whose namee is also Anna Gutman. I will have to contact Resthaven and see if they have a location for the daughter, Anna Gutman. Susan

BTW, if you are family... I would call the cemetery and ask them to trim the bushes. I am afraid that if I ask, since they know me, they may not do it. but if family does you might get it done. I just dont want the stone to get lost.
there number is Phone: (314) 381-1313. I would even be happy to retake the shot when it is done.

I am vising Louisville from San Diego and will be going to the St. Louis Cemetery within a day or two to find my own ancestors. If you want to call the cemetery 502-451-7710 and ask them where your ancestors are buried I'll try and find them to take pictures. The office is not located at the cemetery and if you take a list in they will charge you. if you call them they will give you the information over the phone. Let me know asap as we may go this afternoon.

|Stephen Walker||Martha Starkey Whittingham Holloway|
The cemetery database shows no Holloways. I did find a Margaret Starkey Whittingham in Sec O, lot 173, 1808-1883, wife of Charles Whittingham and took a picture of her grave. Based on the dates, she is not the right one.
