I am an Iowa native - born here and still living in the great state of Iowa. I have been doing genealogy research for over 20 years. I have a BA in Psychology/Humans Services and not only complete research to find the names, places, and stories of families but also the patterns of behaviors that evolve in a family line. These relationships within the family are part of what defines who we are. Through researching for myself and others, I have learned about how things like alcoholism, mental health (depression, PTSD, etc.) and socioeconomic situations can change a family for generations.
