|Dylan Hembrough||Carrie Gerber Pech|
Hi. Carrie Gerber Pech us my great great grandma. I would like to know two things: 1) I would like to know if we are related because you manage Carrie's memorial and 2) do you know the name of Carrie's brother? He was a successful violinist but I don't know his name. He died in a train accident. Please let me know when you have answers to either of these questions. Thank you.

Are you related to Louise Fitzgerald? I see you manage her memorial, and it is very complete.

I assume you are related to Kenneth A. Botkin. I am trying to find the grave of his wife, Beatrice Pearl Norris Botkin. I made a photo request and the person could not find her grave at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Grant County, Indiana
Plot: E 673.
Do you have any information regarding her burial and grave?
I am a relative of Beatrice.

|Thomas F. Vining||Memorial #120769298|
The memorial for Ralph Leonard Vining says that he was "son of Thomas & Charlotte (Smith) Vincent". Is Vincent a typo, or do you know of a name change in this family?

|Barbara Tynes Claiborne||Marcus "Mark" Pounds bio|
Wow! Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I was probably tired when I made that mistake. That's why my Ancestry tree is named Misstex - for Mississippi father and Texas mother - but also the mistexts! Mark Pounds was my grandmother's father. Should have treated him better. My mother had fond memories of Nancy Gann Pounds. When she first visited from Texas, Nancy was sitting on the front porch in Marietta with her apron in a bundle on her lap. She opened it to show off her baby "biddies" she was caring for. Loved her chickens. Thanks again. Barbara

Information in this memorial (for "Ralph Leonard Vining") says that he was a son of "Thomas & Charlotte (Smith) Vincent". Was there a name change, or is one of these surnames incorrect? I noted that there are several Vincents reported for Belvidere Cemetery (Belvidere, Illinois) but only one Vining.

|L. Burnett||Lucinda Anderson # 58869549|
Research has revealed that she is buried as
Lue C. Van Camp 19584317. I know the obit said that she died as Lucinda Anderson which is correct. It also said she was married two times which was incorrect. She was married four times.
Her first marriage was to James Van Camp and she was buried beside him. I suppose her name was already on the stone. Her second marriage was in Marion County, IL Aug 5, 1903 to James Sipes. Her third marriage was in De Witt County, IL July 5, 1911 to John William Johnson. Her fourth marriage was Oct 6, 1915 in St Louis, MO to Oscar Anderson.
She is on the 1880 census as Lucinda Van Camp in
Marion County, IL. She is on the 1900 census as Lucinda Van Camp in Mclean County, Illinois. She is on the 1910 census as Lue Sipes in De Witt County, Illinois.(Her age is way off and her son Donald is with her on the 1910 census.) She is on the 1920 census as Lucinda Anderson in De Witt County, Illinois.

|mwalcik||Suggested correction for John Houchin|
I received your suggestion to add the middle initial "B." to the memorial for John Houchin (1804 Warren Co., KY - 1861 Bell Co., TX). I am curious as to what documentation you have for the middle initial. I have done extensive research on John Houchin and his descendants and have only ever seen him listed as "John Houchin" with no middle name or initial.
As he is my 4th great grandfather, I want to make sure that the information added to his memorial is correct. If you could share your source for the middle initial, I would appreciate it.

|Larry Parker||John Besenhofer|
I am not related to any Besenhofer. I have just been going through naturalization records from northern Illinois on familysearch.org. When I find a Declaration of Intention document (which all have one photograph of the person) I check to see if the person has a memorial on Find A Grave. If so, then I crop, fix, and post the photo, and I include a link to the naturalization documents in the caption.
Naturalization documents are one of the few ways to find the town where immigrants were born.
