I have enjoyed working on Find A Grave both as a volunteer photographer and as a contributor. My husband Dave and I have created memorials for our families and added as much information as possible, including photos and documents. My family names include, Carlson, Beck, Higley, Welter, Jones, Fenwick, Davenport, and Lamb. I have roots in Sweden, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and England.

I take volunteer photographs in my home county of Montgomery, NC and surrounding counties of Moore, Randolph, Davidson, Stanly and Richmond. My husband is my partner in this endeavor, and we have trampled through the woods, briars, tall grass and poison ivy in search of old cemeteries. When I fulfill a request, if I see nearby family members' burials I will take additional photographs and add them to existing memorials, or create memorials. If you come across one of these, and are a relative, I will gladly transfer management. It's taking the photographs that interests me the most.
