Wow...this is just too weird. Do you use Ancestry or Family Search? I am trying to research both John's and do a side by side comparison...LOL...If you look at the memorial in Rialto Find A Grave & look at his 1920 Census I have listed there and compare it to the one below? I just did a cut and paste of it.

Sorry there is not 2 John William Campbell's buried out here but there is also a William Campbell buried out here with different dates than John William. What does the death certificate show for dates and burial or cremation? I did a little quick research on Archibald and Sophia. I found where they are buried and added a memorial for them with a little info and links to whatever family I could find. I hope you find your John William.

Hi Tori, I have no other information on him, The cemetery records matches the California Death Index. I am researching all the people buried at Rialto Park Cemetery and have found many old obits from dates even before his but I couldn't find one for him. Seems most of his siblings past away in Arkansas and Missouri. I couldn't find any of them out here. So I have no idea why he ended out here in California...Sorry

Hiya Tori,

When they say "Unknown burials resolved within 30 days" they are referring to relatively recent burials not 100 yrs ago or more. Ancestry.com purchased Find A Grave and it is a non-issue today, they do NOT delete grave in 30 days that are in unknown locations:)

RE: Samual R Dubson - Tori - would you happen to know the Dubson family? I have a photo album in my possession which appears to be mostly Sam's military photos. I am attempting to reach a family member that I can forward this to. (Sam was my step-father.) Thanks for any help you can provide. I did not know Sam's family other than he has a sister.

RE: duplicate
My son, who does findagrave extensively thought that you may have taken your grave pictures, but not designated "Grave". He has seen that happen before. That may be why when someone brings up a name, it comes up that the picture is missing. It's no big deal. You have almost the entire cemetery photographed and posted which is a major accomplishment!

duplicate
I was driving back to Paris from Champaign today and stopped at the Villa Grove Cemetery and took pictures for graves that my smart phone reported had no pictures. So, after I get home, I see that I had added many duplicates, because you had already put the pictures of the graves on yourself. I have never had this happen before. I go to cemeteries all over the place and take pix and add them to Findagrave and have never had a problem. So, I apologize...there are now 2 pictures of some of the graves. If I can go back and delete the ones that I did, I will, but I may not find many of them, as I delete the pictures off of my phone after I add them to Findagrave. Again, I apologize...darn phone!

I looked up the Beck Cemetery in Sangamon County, Illinois, and I noticed that you took the pictures of the headstones there and I was wondering if you are related to the Beck family?

RE: Betty McGarigle
I do understand. Let's see if the other memorial holder can get the cemetery changed to St. Josephs and go from there. I don't think she's related so it probably doesn't matter but would be nice to "clean up" the duplication somehow.

Robert Harik
SGT Jerry M Chunges
Hi Tory,

I've finally found a photo of Sgt M chunges, been searching for about 4 years. Last week I was able to make contact with his sister Mrs. Barbara
(Chunges) Deck. She had no idea that there were several web-sites on the inter-net that posted tributes to her brother Jerry, who was killed in Vietnam. Yesterday she sent me 4 photos to post to these web-sites.

I'm not a member of the family, but I now do fell like one. I wonder if you would transfer management of his findagrave tribute over to me so I can add some information that I have been able to acquire from members of the unit he served with in Vietnam.

My id is 47610090.

Sincerely,
Bob Harik
