RE: John William Campbell
Sorry there is not 2 John William Campbell's buried out here but there is also a William Campbell buried out here with different dates than John William. What does the death certificate show for dates and burial or cremation? I did a little quick research on Archibald and Sophia. I found where they are buried and added a memorial for them with a little info and links to whatever family I could find. I hope you find your John William.

Could you please get the transcription on the headstone and list it under the photo you had posted.

Have seen it as Julia-Lula- and Zula.
Most say that is is Zula.

Need to know what it says on her baby's headstone.

Thanks as Always,

RE: John William Campbell
Hi Tori, I have no other information on him, The cemetery records matches the California Death Index. I am researching all the people buried at Rialto Park Cemetery and have found many old obits from dates even before his but I couldn't find one for him. Seems most of his siblings past away in Arkansas and Missouri. I couldn't find any of them out here. So I have no idea why he ended out here in California...Sorry

Hiya Tori,

When they say "Unknown burials resolved within 30 days" they are referring to relatively recent burials not 100 yrs ago or more. purchased Find A Grave and it is a non-issue today, they do NOT delete grave in 30 days that are in unknown locations:)

Tori, I noticed you have added a photo of Bob's footstone and since we have already posted a picture that is quite readable I would very much appreciate it if you would remove the one you added.

Bob and Mabel are my Brother in Law and Sister.

Thank you very much. ALMAC

RE: Samual R Dubson - Tori - would you happen to know the Dubson family? I have a photo album in my possession which appears to be mostly Sam's military photos. I am attempting to reach a family member that I can forward this to. (Sam was my step-father.) Thanks for any help you can provide. I did not know Sam's family other than he has a sister.

William J. Ickes #86032326 Villa Grove Cemetery Douglas County.
William is on the roster of Company M, 11th Illinois Cavalry.
He enlisted Feb. 27, 1865 and was mustered out on Sept. 30, 1865.
The civil war record shows he lived in Fon Du Lac at the time of enlistment. He served in the same company as my g-grandfather Henry Hamilton Wallace.

Thank you,

RE: duplicate
My son, who does findagrave extensively thought that you may have taken your grave pictures, but not designated "Grave". He has seen that happen before. That may be why when someone brings up a name, it comes up that the picture is missing. It's no big deal. You have almost the entire cemetery photographed and posted which is a major accomplishment!

Added by Daswitzer on Jan 29, 2016 1:11 PM

I was driving back to Paris from Champaign today and stopped at the Villa Grove Cemetery and took pictures for graves that my smart phone reported had no pictures. So, after I get home, I see that I had added many duplicates, because you had already put the pictures of the graves on yourself. I have never had this happen before. I go to cemeteries all over the place and take pix and add them to Findagrave and have never had a problem. So, I apologize...there are now 2 pictures of some of the graves. If I can go back and delete the ones that I did, I will, but I may not find many of them, as I delete the pictures off of my phone after I add them to Findagrave. Again, I apologize...darn phone!

May I use photos for my family tree? Photo courtesy given. I just found a relative at Oak Ridge Cemetery, and the connections are great. Thanks so much.

Beck Cemetery
I looked up the Beck Cemetery in Sangamon County, Illinois, and I noticed that you took the pictures of the headstones there and I was wondering if you are related to the Beck family?

RE: Betty McGarigle
I do understand. Let's see if the other memorial holder can get the cemetery changed to St. Josephs and go from there. I don't think she's related so it probably doesn't matter but would be nice to "clean up" the duplication somehow.

SGT Jerry M Chunges
Hi Tory,

I've finally found a photo of Sgt M chunges, been searching for about 4 years. Last week I was able to make contact with his sister Mrs. Barbara
(Chunges) Deck. She had no idea that there were several web-sites on the inter-net that posted tributes to her brother Jerry, who was killed in Vietnam. Yesterday she sent me 4 photos to post to these web-sites.

I'm not a member of the family, but I now do fell like one. I wonder if you would transfer management of his findagrave tribute over to me so I can add some information that I have been able to acquire from members of the unit he served with in Vietnam.

My id is 47610090.

None that I know of - Just take off the parents I listed that are on your page and that hopefully will correct my sibling problem on my pages.
I have been very into this family and have received some information from others too - but never this man or the daughter listed on his headstone.
Thank you,
Gay Marques

William M. Bunch - #86550636
Your Find-A-Grave # 86550636 for a William M. Bunch is the wrong person and info that connect to the parents listed.
The correct name to be connected with this set of parents is
William Jefferson Bunch - who is my Great Grandfather
His Find-A-Grave # is 90758685
His spouse is Nellie C. Mildred (Collins) Bunch
Her Find-A-Grave # is 90758757

I noticed this as Find A Grave adds siblings based on parents. This wrong name came up when I was checking some other information on his fathers (my Great-Great Grandfather) page. I can not adjust this as per the Question page. It says that is is automatically added based on parents information - so I need you to take the wrong info off so hopefully then the correct will connect.

Thank you for your time,
Gay Marques

Hi, again ... I received another message stating that my edit request was declined as it "appears to be fraudulent and needs to be reported." I'm assuming this is in reference to the request to add a link to her first husband who was the father of her son, Gerald Gene Apgar. Again, I welcome further clarification for the decline. Thanks.

Hi, I received a message stating that my edit request for this individual was declined as it "appears to be fraudulent and needs to be reported." I would welcome further clarification, inasmuch as the request was to add a link to his biological father. Many thanks...
