|Liz Willnow ||Re: Richard Hylla's grave|
Hello. My mother was Norma France's Haynes. I notice you have her down as the wife of Richard Hylla! She was married to Clarwnce Hylla but when I look down father I see 2 marriage certificates for her and 1 divorce certificate. Was she marries to Richard and divorced him and married my dad? Do you know or were just guessing? There was always something fishy about when and where they got married. Please reply.

I didn't know what to do other than that since so many agencies spelled it BARNs instead of BARNES like the family does....Thanks, again.

Thanks for the offer of transfer, but I don't think we're related. I'm interested in all Goldens now that I've done about as much as I can on my own family.

Thank you for posting the picture of her Headstone. We don't live back East, so it's nice to see the memorials. You're doing a great service for families far away - always remember that. Lisa

Thank you so much for all that you have done to chronicle the lives of my family members by going to the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in East St. Louis. I don't have any family pictures and few documents, but the additions that you have added on find a grave mean more than you can imagine for building a trail for my family.

Thank you so much for posting this headstone. Our family knew the cemetery where she was buried, but never knew the location. Your picture lets us know that her headstone is still out there and viewable. I added her picture and linked her to my mother so they now rest together virtually. Thank you for the wonderful work you do.

No rush. The section I was in this morning is called "Assurance", and it is in the far southeast corner of the cemetery on the road that leads out to Frank Scott Parkway. I'll just pick a different section to work in. I get my daily exercise walking through the cemetery and thought I could do some good taking pictures and posting them on Find-A-Grave while I was at it.

While uploading some photos I took in Lake View Cemetery today I noticed that you had already uploaded photos for most of the graves I had photographed. I plan on taking a lot of photos in that cemetery and don't want to duplicate your efforts. Can you tell me which sections you have already photographed so I can concentrate on other sections? Thanks!

|Ebonylocks||Thank You for your generosity|
Thanks so much for the time that you took to investigate the burial site of my family members at the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in East St. Louis. It was sad to realize that their headstones no longer exist, however, I really appreciate your kindness in the time that you took to look for them and to document your findings on Find A Grave. Having their plot numbers still show that they existed and I am grateful that you shared that information.

You have posted a photo upside-down on this memorial. 73642022 Would it be possible to please correct that? If I did it, it would then reflect my name on the photo that you took. Please let me know if you want me to do it for you?

I saw your bio and it said most memorials you do are family. Are you related to Thomas Earnhart? He is my 4th cousin, 2x removed. I know he has 3 surviving siblings, but dont know their names. If you are related, I'd be happy to exchange info about family. I'm related through his mom, Arlene Thouvenot.

Thank you Terenda! I didn't know this website existed until yesterday. I came across it by accident trying to search my Grandma Lucille Humble's year of birth. She is 98 years old! 99 in June 2015.
Anyway, somehow I got onto the Find A Grave website and was amazed at all of your efforts!
My spouse passed away in February 2015 and he lost his parents at a young age. I found his parents and plan to send pictures for their sites.
I am excited to share this website with my brothers, sons, nieces, nephew and cousins.
Have a great rest of your day! Rita

My grandmothers name was Bertha James. I found 1 in this data base, every thing appears to be correct except her date of death. it should be January 29,1953. She was buried at Booker T Washington cemetery in Milstadt il/Centreville Il. thank you so much for all your work.
