P.S.
P.S. I came across your name with a memorial that you created for a cemetery that I am currently working on. Thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering how I found you page.
Cheers! :)

Hello.
I just wanted to say that I think it's wonderful how you have created memorials for the LGBT and the virtual cemetery! I want to do the same for those in my area and around the world, too. You have inspired me and I wanted to thank you for all your hard work that you've done. I appreciate all that you do!

With much Sincerity,
Albertico

Thank you
Thank you for your prompt updating of Christopher Collan Morcom's memorial. Here is a link to a photograph of the stained glass window in his memory. It is in Christ Church's Lady Chapel. The link is https://www.flickr.com/photos/tudorbarlow/3606932335

Christopher Morcom

I have made some corrections I hope you will accept to this memorial. Also, what is your source for Christopher Morcom being cremated? On pp. 66, 69 of the 2014 US edition of “Alan Turing: The Enigma” by Andrew Hodges (ISBN 978-0-691-16472-2) states that the funeral for him was held at Catshill and that Turing visited Chris’ “grave” in August 1930. Other sources on the Internet (which can be notoriously inaccurate) state that he is buried with his parents at Christ Church Churchyard, Stourbridge Road, Catshill, Bromsgrove District, Worcestershire, England B61 9LH.

I have created the following memorials there, but, felt it only proper to send this info. to you rather than create one for Christopher.
Reginald Keble Morcom (1877-1961) Find A Grave Memorial# 146599560
Frances Isobel Swan Morcom (1875-1941) Find A Grave Memorial# 146599516

Also, on page 87 of the same book and edition is the letter Turing wrote Mrs. Morcom on 14 July 1932, which would have been Chris’ 21st birthday. If you have any information which contradicts or proves this wrong, please share it with me, if you are willing!

The actor Jack Bannon portrayed Christopher Morcom in the 2014 film The Imitation Game.

re: Richard Haliburton
Pat, Your memorial for Richard Halliburton is a duplicate to memorial #7957081, managed by Find A Grave member Robert Patterson. The memorials can be merged, with info and photos intact.

I too am a historian who grew up with Richard's books in my library, dog-eared and well read. They still occupy a special place on our library shelves.

In Friendship,
Evelynne "Scot Lady"

While updating the Breckenridge Cemetery, I photographed their markers and added them to Find A Grave#s 61022935 & 59352638. If the photographs don't meet with your approval please let me know and I will delete them. Have a blessed day.

Hi:

I have a photograph of Paul Dannecker's gravestone if you would like for me to post it. However, his memorial has reached the maximum number of photographs, so I can't do it without you removing one. I suggest that if you want the gravestone that you remove the default Riverside Cemetery photograph and there will be room.

Let me know.

Jan

Yes, they have different rules for 'famous.' Mr. Hufford has done many of them. They want everything 'just so.' Did you read the 'Disk World' books? If you like gentle satire, Pratchett is really very good.

Yes, I was afraid that would happen. I saw that there were two. Did you submit yours as a "famous"?

I really did check to see if he had a page before I started mine. Obviously I goofed the death year and just sent in a correction.
