RE: Management Transfer
Hi Pat!
From: Vancouver, BC.
I am not related to the Wattson Family. Fr. Paul James Francis Wattson, SA., is the founder of the Franciscan Order that I am a member of. Our cemetery has three Wattsons: Edward 1856-1931 and
Rev. Fr. Paul 1863-1940. Charles 1856-1931 is listed but my friend Gene Baumwoll who is doing the photography does not see any marker. Charles died in NYC.

My interest is to see that our heritage is preserved.

Thank you for your kindness,

Enoch Greenleaf (1683-1774) #98818378
Information in the memorial for Enoch Greenleaf (memorial # 98818378) is incorrect, and has incorrect links.

Enoch Greenleaf (born 1 March 1683) was the son of Enoch Greenleaf (1647-1705) & Catherine Truesdale (1753-1712), but he was born & died in 1683 (according to "Genealogy of the Greenleaf Family" by James Edward Greenleaf (1896), pages 193-4. He didn't live until 1774. Rebecca Russell was not the wife of this Enoch Greenleaf. And Elizabeth Greenleaf was not the daughter of this Enoch Greenleaf.

Rebecca Russell was married to Enoch Greenleaf (born 2 September 1686, I don't know when he died, maybe this is the Enoch that died in 1774), the son of Joseph & Sarah (nee ???) Greenleaf. Joseph Greenleaf and Enoch Greenleaf (1647 - 8 Sept. 1705) were brothers, sons of Enoch Greenleaf, born about 1617.

Elizabeth Greenleaf-Gerry was the daughter of Enoch Greenleaf (born 2 Sept. 1686) son of Joseph Greenleaf).

Let me know if the author of "Genealogy of the Greenleaf Family" has it wrong. But since other books also give the same information, I think he has it correct.

Sorry. Here is his Memorial # so you can unlink him from my family.

Thank you in your prompt execution of this.

Please remove this memorial. You have this guy linked to my Grandfather (Thomas John Metcalf) and my two dead uncles. I do in fact have an uncle by the name of Gerald Metcalf, but he is alive and well living in Utah, and he certainly IS NOT a murderer.

You have the WRONG man connected to my family

Hi Pat,
I was both surprised and pleased to see your posting about my late uncle Bud Moroney.
For a number of reasons beyond my control, we lost touch over his last few years. I would be interested to know your connection with him. Were you his partner, friend, work colleague? I hope you will contact me.
Best regards,

Thank you so much for the obituary of August Sensenbrenner. However, Find A Grave guidelines require that the source of an obituary be sited. Can you please give me the source so I can post it to the memorial? Thanks!

Hi Pat!

Would you be so kind as to Transfer the Monument of Fr Paul James Francis Wattson #13099310 into my care? He was the founder of the Order that I am a member of.
I put a few photo items onto the site and I'm afraid I messed up the neatness of the layout but I was unable to move anything.

RE: Joseph Goodue
You are very welcome. I try to sponsor direct ancestors when they are not already sponsored. It is my way of honoring those who came before and made us what we are. Linne

RE: Anton Yelchin
I didn't create the memorial - I have just been reading news about his death and watching his memorial grow with pictures and Flowers/Notes from people paying their respects. I got home from work a few hours ago and couldn't believe the headline when I read it. It doens't seem he had a chance to raise a family yet. Very sad.

Thanks so much for adding a Star Trek picture for Anton. I was hoping they would add one. He was so great in that role.

Mike Bounds
Lawrence Tonner
As you probably noticed, I added photos from Jesse Shepard's grave today. Was wonderful to be able to visit him.

I have asked around about Lawrence Tonner's burial place, and the San Diego Historical Society just sent me this info from his funeral program:

Born Denmark
Passed away May 25, 1947 at Los Angeles, California
Services at Edwards Brothers Colonial Mortuary (1000 Venice Blvd, LA)
Time of service: 2pm, May,28, 1947
Place of interment: Inglewood Park Cemetery

It will probably be a while before I'm back in CA again, but if you find yourself near Inglewood and want to look for him, that would be great!

Keep up the great work!

Orlando, FL

I was happy when I found her, and now with your photos, it will be interesting. I have one poorly copied photo of my great-grandmother, and at my age of 76, I resemble her - her Reiber/Hofferber parents. I'm glad I could help... Judi

Capt Charles Thomas Hinde
Thank-you for posting the bio & photo & transfer. As a child we would go out to eat at the Spanish Village eatery on Coronado, my father would always take us for a walk to view the Church that a Capt in the family built. I always envisioned a sea Capt, not a steamboat Capt. In 2008 I started doing my ancestry and finally learned the Capt's story, I realized Charles & Eliza, Camilla had no descendants to keep their memory, and wanted to find a way to do so. My gr grandfather Rufus "Harry" Robbins, Hinde's wife's nephew worked for him as the Superintendent of the Spreckles Bros Comm Co Wharf, aka the "coal bunkers". Robbins family lived "next door" across canyon from the Marsten's, their beautiful home was torn down in the 70's for some multi story apts.
