Yes, I just learned of the duplication and will remove my memorials this afternoon. I will send you some additional info to add to your memorials. Sorry for the mix up.
Are you part of the family? If so, I have information to share with you. Feel free to write to me at email@example.com

You are welcome Pat. Glad he is with friends. A couple of his cousins came to visit me yesterday. They went to his memorial service this week.

I'm wondering if you're any relation to this family - you posted her father, Johann "John" Henry Mangels'.
She married the sugar tycoon, Adolph Claus J. Spreckels.
If you know any more about her, her parents and/or siblings I'd love to know.

How did you happen to post the Bio on Sally? Your bio is how I learned of her demise..
I only met her a couple of years ago. She is my 3rd cousin.

|Diane Elsasser Snider||David Hearst Sr.|
I don't think the photo you posted on David Hearst Sr.'s memorial is of him. A man born in 1915 would not be that young in a color photo - the man in the photo looks to be in his 40's. Color photos came into prominence in the late 60's early 70's - you see where I am going. There are other B&W photos on the Web of David Hearst, and they look nothing like the individual in the photo on his memorial.
Thanks, Diane Snider

Understood. I can't argue against your point. FYI, I shared your memorial on a Facebook page, so you will find tokens left for Devon.

P.S. I came across your name with a memorial that you created for a cemetery that I am currently working on. Thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering how I found you page.

I just wanted to say that I think it's wonderful how you have created memorials for the LGBT and the virtual cemetery! I want to do the same for those in my area and around the world, too. You have inspired me and I wanted to thank you for all your hard work that you've done. I appreciate all that you do!
With much Sincerity,

Thank you for your prompt updating of Christopher Collan Morcom's memorial. Here is a link to a photograph of the stained glass window in his memory. It is in Christ Church's Lady Chapel. The link is https://www.flickr.com/photos/tudorbarlow/3606932335

I have made some corrections I hope you will accept to this memorial. Also, what is your source for Christopher Morcom being cremated? On pp. 66, 69 of the 2014 US edition of “Alan Turing: The Enigma” by Andrew Hodges (ISBN 978-0-691-16472-2) states that the funeral for him was held at Catshill and that Turing visited Chris’ “grave” in August 1930. Other sources on the Internet (which can be notoriously inaccurate) state that he is buried with his parents at Christ Church Churchyard, Stourbridge Road, Catshill, Bromsgrove District, Worcestershire, England B61 9LH.
I have created the following memorials there, but, felt it only proper to send this info. to you rather than create one for Christopher.
Reginald Keble Morcom (1877-1961) Find A Grave Memorial# 146599560
Frances Isobel Swan Morcom (1875-1941) Find A Grave Memorial# 146599516
Also, on page 87 of the same book and edition is the letter Turing wrote Mrs. Morcom on 14 July 1932, which would have been Chris’ 21st birthday. If you have any information which contradicts or proves this wrong, please share it with me, if you are willing!
The actor Jack Bannon portrayed Christopher Morcom in the 2014 film The Imitation Game.

Pat, Your memorial for Richard Halliburton is a duplicate to memorial #7957081, managed by Find A Grave member Robert Patterson. The memorials can be merged, with info and photos intact.
I too am a historian who grew up with Richard's books in my library, dog-eared and well read. They still occupy a special place on our library shelves.
