Thanks very much for taking the pic and uploading them for my great grand aunt and uncle.

And thanks for getting some of the headstone out. I live in Calgary (originally from Kingston) and would clean it off myself but when I visit home I fly into Ottawa for a shorter drive.

Anyway, again, my thanks!

Dingman memorials
Firstly thank you for adding the photos to these memorials.
Secondly, you were very helpful a year ago when you and Tom were adding photos for my memorials in Mount Pleasant prior to his passing.
You have done four BURNETT memorials in Prospect Cemetery. Via the edit tab, I have requested transfers of these family memorials if you are willing.
I have quite a bit of additional info and want to link as well. I believe you thought Arden was a female but not correct as his surname was McArthur.
Anyway I would be very appreciative if I could manage these.
Regards,
George
PS We thank you for all the great work you do for the Toronto memorials.

RE: John Macaulay Hamilton
I don't think to check messages very often, so I don't know if I replied previously. John Macaulay Hamilton is my 3g grandfather, so if you wish to pass this one to me, that is just fine. Thanks.

Ruth Watkins (Pew) Jaynes
Watkins at Hamilton Cemetery
Hello,

Could you please transfer all of the Watkins you have entered in Hamilton Cemetery on Find-A-Grave to me? I realize this is bold of me to ask, but I am a direct lineal descendent of Samuel, have been doing genealogy since about 1976, have loads of bio info on all of the Watkins and who they married. It will be MUCH easier for me to enter and change data.

I thank you for entering them on Find-A-Grave.

RE: unwanted flowers and notes
Hi Islington: Thanks for this info. What is the address for admin. Honestly this part of the site to change so that a person must get permission from whoever set up a memorial and not add anything independently.

unwanted flowers and notes
I just looked at a memorial I created for my grandparents and found somebody added flowers. How can these be deleted? Can we get find a grave to change the set up so that strangers cannot add flowers or anything.?

I'm working on a grant to put headstones on all of the unmarked graves in Snohomish County. We may find James at that time. He does not show up in FamilySearch.org either. Maybe he was a contractor and got killed in Vietnam.

Adeline (Orinda) Galligan
Islington

The memorial for Adeline Galligan 15508801 is a duplicate of Memorial 94348557 for Orinda Galligan.
I need to delete the one for Orinda and transfer picture to Adeline's memorial. You currently have the "Photo Request" for Adeline. Let me know how you want to handle this. I can e-mail you a copy of my pic if you want.

RE: James E Puffer Find A Grave Memorial# 88651419
Hello
I got James' name and information from USGenWebb http://files.usgwarchives.net/wa/snohomish/cemeteries/marysville-p.txt. My guess is that the family may have made up a marker in 1979 when James' mother died and it was still there in 2006 when the cemetery was listed for USGenWebb by Teresa Ashley. So from that I set up a memorial on Find a Grave. Then I took pictures of the entire cemetery in the summer of 2012. Somewhere in those six years the maker has either been destroyed and or buried. There may be information in the office with the mother regarding James.
I hope this helps.
I would love for you to join us in the "Quest" to finish taking pictures of Snohomish County. Let me know. I have maps of what is left to do. About 40,000 internments that need to be photographed and set up Find a Grave. If you are in Marysville, you are close to what is left to do.
I'm just getting back to something that looks like normal after the March 22, Oso slide.

RE: Herbert Elgie Family - Mt. Pleasant
Interesting that there is only the flat monument and that it is in the poor man's section. Herbert started his carrier in Toronto as a bricklayer but eventually became a contractor apparently building several churches in Toronto and a few buildings at Casa Loma.

When he and Laura wre first married they lost three of their children when they were quite young so I suspect that later in life they decided to be buried with them where they were originally laid to rest rather than having them reinterred.

Thank you very much for your kindness in acquiring the photo of the gravestone. Do you ,by any chance, still recall where the grave is located in Mt. Pleasant cemetery?
