The only things I routinely decline are two names in the surname field (including hyphenated names that aren't shown as such on the marker...), so I'm guessing that was what I did in this case. I'm sorry if Find A Grave's naming conventions offend you.

I've added all the information you sent--thanks! In case you're not aware of the automated editing system, you could have saved yourself some typing by entering much of that info via the pull-down menus, and sending the additional info as an "old-style SAC"-------------

RE: George Groce, II
Hi Ruth,
I posted a picture of for a George Groce stone, but I can't tell which one it is. I believe it's the one you requested, but wanted to take a closer look.

The Elizabeth Groce you recently requested isn't on the plot.
I'll repost it soon, and let you decide.
best,
Cheri

Go ahead - I have too much to keep up with already!
Yes, we do make a great team :) I didn't make it to the reunion this year, but the cemetery work is still going on. All the fencing has been replaced, the right of way and driveway are a done deal and the sign should be going up real soon. My cousin has worked extremely hard to completely restore it. We are compiling information for the plat to go to the historical society. No sense losing all that we've gained!

RE: Clara Sims Whitlatch
I don't think they divorced, but perhaps they did. At any rate I believe there was trouble between Clara and Charles first wife and children. He spent a few years in Fort Madison Prison and he and Clara were married after that, but his obituary when he died in a coal mining accident didn't mention her as his wife.

RE: Charles M Whitlatch 90861205
She didn't divorce Charles Whitlatch, they were married when he passed away. The next man she married, Charles E Clair, had been in prison. I have been looking and not sure if they divorced or not as of yet... He was in prison during the 1920 and 1930 census for Fort Madison and my mother remembers her marrying a man from prison and her family didn't like it as far as she remembers. So understand if you want to do some more checking, but I am pretty sure we have the right Amanda Sims.

RE: Eliza Jane Fleming Moore
Ruth,
Yes, you may use her photo just credit me. (2003-2014 Mary "Corky" Richards on Find-A-Grave) You have my permission to use any Fleming or Moore photo I have posted (with credit of course). So many of the tin types, sketches and photographs have come from old trunks, old tin boxes, cigar boxes, inside family Bibles and other containers folks were throwing away. Also in the family I'm known as the picture keeper. When someone passes after folks take what they want, I end up with Bibles, books, old letters, funeral cards, envelopes and boxes of photos, etc.
I have had people steal what I post and some claiming the photos were actually someone else. I have worked hard for over four decades to categorize, date, and put families into groups. The last two decades I've scan photos, birth, marriage, funeral cards, obituaries and death certificates into the computer. It hurts me when I see this information abused. I'm not in this for profit or glory. I just want as complete and accurate a record, as possible to pass on to future family researchers.
Ruth, you have been of great assistance to me. I need people to point out my errors, I'm only human. So thank you for all you do for Find-A-Grave and especially me.
Bless you for visiting my son's memorial page. His tragic, sudden death is still too difficult (after 43 years) for me to talk or write about. Someday perhaps.
Blessings in all your endeavors,
Mary Richards
PS: still looking for more (no pun intended) photos for you. ;)

RE: Rowell Family
Hi, I am not related to Rowell family. I and several others are doing a project to record all the Beverly cemetery burials in FINDAGRAVE, that is how I came across your family.
My computer is currently in the repair shop for another week or so (I'm at the public library right now) but when I get it back, I will send along what information I have.

Margaret Edwards
Please note: I added her picture at the original posting of her memorial. However, someone argued with me that she was not buried in the Old Garvin Cememtery, Scioto Co., Ohio.
They had her picture removed by Findagrave????
Anyway it disappeared, and I have again, added her tombstone which is indeed in the "Old Garvin Cemetery. I am also posting a picture of where it is located.

RE: Hello
Ms. Ruth, Mom still is unable to sit long enough to do much genealogy work. I have to apologize for not getting back with you sooner, Mom asked me to, I forgot. I'm trying to keep up with her memorials. She says to tell you, yes she may have photos stashed away. She will get to them in a couple of months. Mom is fine except for her pelvic bone, it is taking longer to heal than thought, because she is a diabetic. Again, I'm sorry for not answering sooner. Thanks for understanding, Logan Richards

Ida Sutton in Alamosa City Cemeteyr
Hi Ruth -
I added a photo for Ida and after it saved, I noticed that the photo I added was for the wrong Ida Sutton. I deleted it, but you will need to make your photo request again as I don't have a photo of Ida Howard Sutton (or if I do, it's not labeled.)
I really apologize - I should have looked at the dates before I added it.
Have a good night!
Judi

RE: Margaret Edwards
I went and looked through the entire Old Garvin Cemetery and still could not find a marker for her. Most of the stones were completely wore down to hardly nothing. I might be able to find out who takes care of that cemetery and see if they have records of where she is buried. I am so sorry that I could not find it. If I can do anything else let me know.

RE: Margaret Edwards
You are welcome. I will be going and looking for her headstone again however because I looked in the wrong cemetary. She is in what is called the Old Garvin Cemetary not the one that I am familiar with. I have lived here all my life and had never heard of it. Anyway, I will probably go again today and see if I can find it.

RE: Dora and Cora Griffin
I will be going back to Oak Grove Cem soon and will try to remember to take a second look at marker. There is also a chance that it could have been engraved incorrectly too, seen that several times before. This has been and is a hard cemetery to work on in the fact that there are so many really hard to read markers. I generally photograph all markers and see which ones I can't read or match to in Find A Grave. This cem has had lots of markers that are mossed over and several that are unreadable.
I'll see what I can do...

RE: Dora and Cora Griffin
Is there any chance that Cora might have been named Zora? I posted in my notes that way, was getting tired and may have rushed the interpretation of the name.
