August Fischer
I see that you already have a memorial for August that predates the one I created. I'll transfer mine and let you determine its final disposition, unless you would prefer that I delete it.

While it's probably not recommended, it might serve as a placeholder for anyone that would otherwise re-create the memorial with the misspelling.

By the way, would you happen to know who are the parents of Pauline Katherine Thaemert Fischer / 117059761?

Delbert duplicate
Miriam, I deleted my memorial for Delbert Holdaway. I am not related - you have done a lot of work linking family etc so I'm glad to delete mine. My sister in law had people there in that cemetery - and I just entered in some names I found on a cemetery list. Thanks, Sue

Thank you Miriam-yes I was forever wondering where gg grandpa Peter was buried-it is hard to accept he and his wife are buried miles apart. it tends to make me wonder the events that bring such misfortune. perhaps petulant thoughts of a mortal being such as I.-It is always good to hear from concerned cousins like yourself knowing we share a strand of dna of these forefathers. hopefully they see our earnest endeavors to know them though they are long gone.keep in touch-Respectfully Ernie Clary

RE: Edward Fischer
Edward's & Rosemary's boys were Rex D., Richard D., and Charles E. Charles, is the one I visited with in Esbon, Kansas, a couple months ago. I also remember a Sue Ann Scanlan, living in the Travis, house across from the school. Do you know the connection?

Rosemary Travis, was in the same class in Cawker City High School in Cawker City, Kansas. She lived across the street west of the school. I recently visited with one her sons in Esbon, Kansas. I just can't remember his name. But, I'll probably see him next spring as his neighbor, Dwight Frost, helps me with some of my find a grave research in northwest Jewell Co. Small world. Ken Robinson

Zella Eillene Hutchison Holdaway
You may want to contact the Sumner County Courthouse and have them update their records. When I checked for the location I was told that they could not find a record. I just happened to get lucky enough to see the headstone while I was looking for two other requests in the area. Since the memorial lists Zella as the first name and the headstone just has Eillene, this may be the issue. But at least I was able to fulfill your request. I also added a closeup of the headstone for Kenneth Holdaway on his memorial page.

I didn't see a request for photos but I went ahead and added some to the memorial page. Feel free to leave them or remove them if you wish.

Sorry it took so long for me to get the photos posted. I only work in the area of the cemetery once a week and sometimes I forget I have pictures on my phone. Hope these pictures are what you want. Let me know if they are not.

Miriam:
I saw your photo request for Catharine Dorothee Wilhelmine "Minna" Ohlendorf Fischer(?) and believe that I may have duplicated yours with Find A Grave Memorial No. 107694778 (W Fischer). Take a look at it and see it the headstone photo provides enough information for me to add the same photo to your memorial and for me to delete the memorial I created.
Thanks,
DSH

RE: Gaskill
You are quite welcome. When I went to take the photo late Wednesday afternoon as they were closing, I was given the wrong plot number (1356) and that space had no marker. I went back this afternoon to make sure that I had the right location & it turned out that it should have been #1536. Then it was much simpler to find!
