|Rich Cummings||John Nelson Bennett|
I saw your name as the person who surveyed Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown. I am a church historian and am trying to find a photo of Reverend John Nelson Bennett. I have not haf any success and was curious if you had a photo of his headstone at Lake Park Cemetery? I would like to have Reverend Bennett represented in some way in the history that I am writing. If i can't find a personal photo, a photo ofhis headstone will suffice. If you don't have a photo, could you give me some idea of how to find his grave so I can photograph it? Thanks

Hello there. Thank you for letting me know. Did you notice what her first name was transcribed as? Shameful isn't it? lol
I missed the place of death information, thanks for letting me know this. I will make the changes to the memorial after I send this message. I've also sent an edit request on Ancestry as well for them to either correct the information or to at least post it correctly with the changes or at least it will show up beneath what is already there, lol.
Appreciate all that you do and thank you for your kindness.

Thanks for honoring my great grandfathers family. For your information, Mary was born in 1885. Pauline was the youngest, born in 1901. There is another sister, my grandmother, Helen Wolf born 1892 and died 1966 on her birthday. She is buried with her husband in Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield. If my memory is correct, there was another brother that died around 1918 during the flu epidemic. I think his name was Alex and he should be buried with the rest of the family. Zhave you come across his grave?
Again, thanks for listing my family.

Thank you for the information about James William Pastorius and Harriet Cramer Pastorius' grave sites. They were my Great Grand Parents. We have a Genealogical records going back to Francis Daniel Pastorius, and James William's Civil War Pension records and those of his brothers.
My brother lives near Butler and since finding the information about the graves I asked him to go to the South Side Cemetery and try to find them.
I remember going to the cemetery with maternal grand mother to tend her family graves none of which I have yet found on Findagrave.

|JackiMex||RE: Findagrave Community Day at Homewood|
Sorry, you can't make it on Saturday. You sound like a busy person. I hope you can find the time to upload the photos you have already taken at Homewood. On Saturday we will be doing Section 19 (and more if lots of people show up). If you have photos from Section 19, you might want to upload them between now and the 17th.
I hope we get to meet one of these days.

|JackiMex||Findagrave Community Day at Homewood|
I would like to invite you to the Findagrave Community Day at the Homewood Cemetery. There are over 74,000 memorials for Homewood graves, but only 17% of them have photos. Please bring a digital camera or a phone with camera and help us bring this number up.
I see that you have taken and uploaded at least one photo on a memorial for Homewood so I am hoping you will come and do some more. The cemetery is providing us with a meeting room and coffee from 9 to 4:30. Look for the sign behind the main building.
You can learn more about this event and sign up at
Looking forward to meeting you,
