Thank you Jen. I too have lost a child. My little Conner's memorial means the world to me. I know Sharon will feel the same way about Sharla's.

|Natalie Langford||RE: Sharla Olson|
It was actually Sharla's mother, Sharon, who added it using my account. She said she had done a search, but nothing turned up. She may have done it incorrectly, as she is new to findagrave.com. Would you mind transferring this memorial to me so her mother can control it. I know it would mean a lot to her.

I was really surprised that he didn't have a marker. I went back to the cemetery office on another day. I was hoping they would have it documented. Its the first time I've been to their cemetery where I couldn't find one. I did find the plot marker and can take a picture of the area if you like.

Jen, I don't know if this will have more information than you already have, but take a look at Ida's page in the Columbia Cemetery information. Boulder Genealogical Society has carefully researched and documented everyone who is buried in this cemetery, now managed by the City of Boulder. Here's the website, where everything is on-line:
Navigate through the "Burial Index and Interactive Map" link (near the middle, on the right) to Ida's page. Let me know if I can help, Amy

I would be happy to fulfill your photo request - would you call the cemetery to get the burial location?
There are over 11,000 graves there and without a location, it is difficult to find your request.
The phone number is 509-926-2753 - and there is no charge to obtain the location contrary to the description on
I fulfill requests regularly there and will get you the photo if you can supply the grave location to me. Please email info

You are very welcome. I was decorating several graves at that cemetery. I knew where Judy was buried, so I had her grave on my list for a photo after seeing your request.

No, leave the more complete information, not sure why it did that, maybe because all I had to add was place of death? Anyway, it looks fine the way it's showing up right now, if the edit is still sitting there in your to-do pile, just change it to decline and then that the information is all ready correct or whatever it says in that drop down. Thanks!

I am filling your request for Billy Townsend's marker, however, it does not have his death date added. I will watch and when it is added will redo the photo. Betty

|dschumaker24||RE: Marjorie Anderson Meyle|
Thank you for revising her memorial page. No, I am not related. I knew her daughter, Connie. She was one class ahead of me in high school. My mom lives with me and she thinks her sister and Marjorie went to Washington D.C. at the same time in the 1940s. Her memory is kind of fuzzy on the details, mom is 89. I will e-mail Marjorie's obit to you. Thanks again.

Thank you for the data you sent for the Schoonovers in Mount Hope. I have added it to their pages. Please let me know via the edit button if you would like me to look for obits and their cemetery information at the Kansas State Historical Society.

Jen: yes, please note the date for reference as to when her site was last checked for a marker. While in Lola's memorial you may, in family links, connect Ed, his id# 54411197, as husband.

Actually there was a remnant of a drift at the south end but otherwise the ground was clear.
Glad to have helped some. Not sure if other photo requests remaining for Deer Creek are also yours. A big project to cover the cemetery and we were a bit pressed for time and still a good distance from home.
I have Clark relatives there. I am not descended from the Clark/Mayhew connection but they are my kin.

I just checked the burial records for Sacramento City Cemetery and didn't see her listed there. Find A Grave only has about 1/3 of the burials listed. Maybe that might be next project..lol.
I double checked the burial records for Sacramento County Cemetery and she is listed on them, but I must admit I have found them to wrong sometimes as individuals are often relocated elsewhere with the list being old and not updated.
Since you already have all her info on her memorial and linked to her spouse, just change the cemetery location to that of Sacramento County Cemetery and I will delete mine.
Being she is your Aunt, I would have transferred her to you anyway. So might as well save us all extra work and just change the cemetery location of yours.

Well, even if that town is under water it doesn't change where he died. I'd do it just as the death cert says, although Linwood probably won't show up in the drop down as a city. You can certainly put that in the bio though.

If you would like to set up a memorial that would be fine. My husband and I started to take pictures of all the tombstones, but we fell behind this summer. I hope we can find a few nicer days this winter and get some more done.
It is a large cemetery that is so packed. I've never seen plots so close together. But having said that there are some fantastic stones and many old stones. When we are done I would like to give the disks to the cemetery board so they will have a visual record.
There are many railroad barons buried there and wealthy business people from the early days of Kansas. Joanne
