Thank you for revising her memorial page. No, I am not related. I knew her daughter, Connie. She was one class ahead of me in high school. My mom lives with me and she thinks her sister and Marjorie went to Washington D.C. at the same time in the 1940s. Her memory is kind of fuzzy on the details, mom is 89. I will e-mail Marjorie's obit to you. Thanks again.

I made the corrections to her memorial. Thanks for the additional info. Our paths are crossing on here a lot. Are you from the Holton area?

Thank you for the data you sent for the Schoonovers in Mount Hope. I have added it to their pages. Please let me know via the edit button if you would like me to look for obits and their cemetery information at the Kansas State Historical Society.

Jen: yes, please note the date for reference as to when her site was last checked for a marker. While in Lola's memorial you may, in family links, connect Ed, his id# 54411197, as husband.

Actually there was a remnant of a drift at the south end but otherwise the ground was clear.
Glad to have helped some. Not sure if other photo requests remaining for Deer Creek are also yours. A big project to cover the cemetery and we were a bit pressed for time and still a good distance from home.
I have Clark relatives there. I am not descended from the Clark/Mayhew connection but they are my kin.

I just checked the burial records for Sacramento City Cemetery and didn't see her listed there. Find A Grave only has about 1/3 of the burials listed. Maybe that might be next project..lol.
I double checked the burial records for Sacramento County Cemetery and she is listed on them, but I must admit I have found them to wrong sometimes as individuals are often relocated elsewhere with the list being old and not updated.
Since you already have all her info on her memorial and linked to her spouse, just change the cemetery location to that of Sacramento County Cemetery and I will delete mine.
Being she is your Aunt, I would have transferred her to you anyway. So might as well save us all extra work and just change the cemetery location of yours.

Well, even if that town is under water it doesn't change where he died. I'd do it just as the death cert says, although Linwood probably won't show up in the drop down as a city. You can certainly put that in the bio though.

|Joanne Paisley||Re: Leona Larson|
If you would like to set up a memorial that would be fine. My husband and I started to take pictures of all the tombstones, but we fell behind this summer. I hope we can find a few nicer days this winter and get some more done.
It is a large cemetery that is so packed. I've never seen plots so close together. But having said that there are some fantastic stones and many old stones. When we are done I would like to give the disks to the cemetery board so they will have a visual record.
There are many railroad barons buried there and wealthy business people from the early days of Kansas. Joanne

|Rachel Ricks||no headstone|
After searching the area where Edward Nuzman, Jr was buried I spoke with Tionna at the cemetery office. She looked up his file and found that he does not have a headstone. I did take a picture of the general area where he is buried if you would like me add that to his memorial.

You're sure welcome. Ihad photo the whole cemetery last summer but didn't see Warrens do to it being over grown and covered with dirt. I'm glad you requested the photo and I was able to uncover another child's marker.

Was wondering if you have any additional info or pictures on the Mayhew family. My ancestor is Walter S. Mayhew.

I started a message, but it zipped away so you may have half a message somewhere. There is still a Hattie I (1879-1937)and Joseph M Harrell
(1875-1940) buried in the same area as your other Harrell ancestors. Are they yours? Do you want a photo? I took one just in case. Judy

I went to Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park today to take a photo of Sara's grave. Right next to her was a George T. Harrison 1912-1987. I am thinking this might be a relative. If this is true and you want to make a memorial for him - I took a photo of his headstone while there today and would be glad to download it to his memorial. Just let me know.

I suspect that is Deer Creek. It's location is shown on Findagrave.com. Marietta is a former village just south of Oketo, but the cemetery is located several miles west on the west side of the river.

Thanks Jen for all the info, I have added it. If you are family I'd be happy to tranfer. Their plot is on the east road as far as you can go north before the turn, easy to find, but 2nd or 3rd row. Close there anyway. Hope your visit is a great one. Luella
