What is the "burial record" you refer to? His birthdate is 1803
and d 2Aug 1882. Even a photo of the broken stone would be helpful or who he is buried near... all info appreciated greatly.

hi
Thanks for taking a nice photo of my great grandfather's head stone. At the age of 12 I was told he had been buried in Concordia. I drove to Concordia last fall to see if it existed. Now my cousins in Texas can see it too.

Dupes again
I'll send the Goldie H. Vass one to Find A Grave to merge the two. Mine was earlier, but the other one has links attached.

I sent the obit for the Hoober one to his page in the right cemetery, along with an apology for my dupe. As soon as it is posted, I'll delete my page.

Lillie Evans
Thanks for letting me know about the dupes. I don't know why I missed George -- the spelling was the same -- but with Lillie, I was looking for her under Lilly, as that's the way her name was spelled in the obit. Your gravestone photo shows the Lillie photo.

I really appreciate those photos.

RE: Cavender's in Culver Union Cem
Hi,
Thanks for the info on Lucinda's lack of a stone and for looking for me. You mentioned that there were 4 other Cavender's buried there. I know that Joseph and his wife Katherine and a grandbaby named Elizabeth are buried there. Do you by chance remember the 4th name?
Hopefully yours,
Marcia

Shirley Perkins Memorial
Thank you so very much for providing the photo of Shirley's headstone. I've always believed that a memorial seems so incomplete without a photo of the person and their grave stone.
