It looks as though I lost track and over did my work..... I put in an edit to remove the husbands' entry from 113392525. I had forgotten and put the wifes' entry in the husbands' memorial as well so they looked duplicate on both....

Sorry about that.

Best regards,
Keith Meadows

Korean War

Well like all wars, it is hell.

18 May 1951 entire battalions of the 25th Inf Reg were overrun, surrounded, and pounded by Chinese.
by the hundreds.

Many of the Korea MIA are memorialized at the Punch Bowl Cemetery Honolulu and often the families made secondary memorials back home.

Some KILLED in action were buried in Hawaii, some shipped all the way back home. Not sure what rules dictated that.

Yes, the family can apply to VA to get a stone for that missing memorialization. I have tried on behalf of families long gone or uncaring, but VA turned me down, even with cemetery officials approving.

There is a list online of WV KIA KOREA

RE: Re: Farley
Which Farley's are you referring to or what cemetery? I was in the Ghent, West Virginia area last week and photographed 7 cemeteries in full, I am still working on one that I know there are some Farleys in. Maybe I still have some you might be looking for. I haven't alphabetized them yet though.

Elmer W. Meadows #113296938

I have a question about Elmer's bithdate & death dates. In the WV Vital Research Records Elmer's birthdate is listed as 3/10/1874 in Summers Co. WV.

About his death date, I was unable to find it, but I did find him listed with his father living with Grandparents in the 1880 census. He must have died after the 1880 census was taken.

As you can see why I am confused about the dates listed on his Memorial. Hope you can help me out.

Barbara (Barbary) Miller Mann
Mr. Pack, I have a question as the unknown cemetery or burial site for Barbara Miller Mann. Can you give any information as to why her place of rest would not be known. Again, I thank you so very much for any help in my quest to gain as much knowledge as I can about the Mann family of Monroe Co. WV. Martha Mann Perkins

Jacob Mann I, Jacob Mann II
Mr.Pack, I am a direct descendant of George Bernhardt Mann, Jacob I, Jacob II, James, Squire, Allen Robert Mann. I have been researching the Mann family for seven years, and I only recently learned about Find A Grave. This site has been a wonderful treasure for me. I would like to know if you have information as to the death date, May 16,1815 for both Jacob I and Jacob II. I have found this date in other research and thought perhaps it may be a mistake, but I now see it again on Find A Grave. I thank you for any information that you may offer. Thank you so very much, and I hope that my public message is received and read. Martha Mann Perkins
