RE: Memorial 97010816
Sorry Beth, after I sent the message I looked at the stone and the script had totally thrown me off. I realize that it is the correct information. Please accept my apology.

sorry Beth, the writing was almost illegible on that stone and that is why i was questioning it. I am really sorry, but I am really glad that you are taking care of all the Jersey County, IL cemeteries.

My apologies,
Judi Widmaier

Memorial 97010816
Hi Beth,
This memorial is for John G. Hutchinson who is a relative of mine. I noticed that you put a picture of a headstone on his memorial. I don't think it is his. The last name is wrong. Could you check this please?
Thanks so much,
Judi Widmaier, mother Clara Hutchinson Widmaier, her father Lewis Turner Hutchinson, his father William L. Hutchinson, his father William T. Hutchinson of Jersey County, IL.
Have lots of Hutchinson and Turner relatives in Jersey County.

Hi Beth,

Someone just sent me an email notifying me that you also have a grave listed for Elizabeth http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=136647969

I had created one just a little while before and connected her to other family members, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=128440766
but have both her married surnames, so that might have confused it. Can you please delete yours so that there is not a duplicate?

Thanks,
Susanne Melton

Isaac Bray
thank you for the transfer of Rosina and Isaac.
you need to delete your Isaac Bray instead of transferring him to me as mine was added in 2008.
Pleas add your photo of Isaac's stone to my Isaac Bray entry before you delete yours.
thank you so much.

Rev Horatio Nelson #107237046
Thank you for posting photos of Hanold Cemetery! Your efforts are much appreciated. I do have one correction.

Horatio Nelson (18 Sep 1818-29 Jul 1898) is not buried at Hanold Cemetery. He is buried next to his second wife, Mary Ann Flint (died 12 Apr 1898), at the Bunker Hill Cemetery in MacCoupin County, IL.

Thomas Jones Question
Hello Beth,
You have a grave for Thomas Jones, #107237880. You reference a Source "There the Heart Is, A History of Brighton, Illinois, 1826 - 1964". Is there any more text about Thomas Jones here. I have been looking for the grave for Thomas M Jones who died after 1860. This family is buried at Miles Station Cemetery but I am unable to find burial records to confirm his burial there. Here is the link to his memorial http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSsr=1&GSmcid=47558495&GRid=102251980&

thanks,

Benjamin Armstrong
Thank you so very much for transferring the management of Benjamin's memorial to me--and a HUGE thank you for the work that you are doing with the cemeteries in Jersey County. After wading through waist-high grasses and day lilies in Armstrong Cemetery in June 2006, to find our Armstrongs, we drove around the beautiful country roads and were awed by the number of small cemeteries that we saw everywhere. (No one had warned us about the rattlesnakes, of course, but we had the good sense to wear thick leather boots!)
