Right now I would settle
for the smell of midtown while I enjoy a kinish in motion with other people. I would love to have a talk with you at a small, Brooklyn residence nook and get all sparklers and fireworks. When you said those words in one of your memorials, it really sparked a great feeling in me, and i repeat those words to other people who are impressed with me, but only you and I know who the author is :-) For that I owe you EmilyAnn

Thank you for the positive thoughts and my computer is back now with a brand new, super duper, power graphics card. I will resume my visits to your dearly departed. I think of you often Emily, thoughts of wonder, and your precieved grace.

RE: Greetings dear soul sister
Dear Emily, Thank you for the words of comfort and sharing with me your experiences and the love for your parent as a caretaker. With the passing of our loved ones, we are indeed not the same. I do find moments of comfort whenever I read your messages which tell me that there are someone who care for our family and Phyllis though we are far apart.
Your work at findagrave is very much appreciated!

Support always,
Betty

for those that remain
mom's
Dear Emily, It's was an honor to visit your mom. Mine has been gone sixteen years and I miss her everyday. We will see them again but because I am the baby of five kids I was spoiled rotten and even at fifty-five you'd think it would get easier but it's not. God bless you and your family especially your wonderful mom. Lisa

RE: About Boo and the Remote...
I think you're right about the jealousy of the remote. Ra was always on such a mission against it, and Boo is too. I also fiddle on my phone a lot, so Boo sits on my chest and smooshes herself against the phone and my fingers so I can scratch and snuggle her, lol! She is wonderful and awful at the same time :)

Rhonda C. Poynter & Friends
Flash Kennedy
Dear EmilyAnn,
I am just so pleased to even have my name connected to Flash's page - my help was here this morning (I don't do all of my own computer work because of my eyes), and I had her checking each of my friends' pages for needed BD and Angel Day notes; she saw Flash before I did, and knew I'd love the page. =) I have continued to have so much going on since Mom's loss that I am dreadfully behind in reading about all the fascinating folks on here...anyhow, anybody who drove around in a red convertible and had ties to Brooklyn and Jersey is okay by me, and my mom and dad will probably look him up in Heaven, now, too so they can talk about everything they have in common. ha! I hope that we can get somebody to pick up a couple other pages connected to Flash; I'll keep you updated. Take good care and stay in touch, hugs - RCP and Gannon Blue

Hi Emily Ann,
Sorry for the delay but it has been hectic at work and etc, etc. You are truly a very kind person to say such nice things. It has always been my pleasure to be of help in whatever way I can. I live near Calvary and I am familiar with their custom of placing plastic crosses to mark a grave without a headstone. There are no stones in that Sec 27 now there are 2 crosses. I wonder just how many people are buried there. It is so sad. Take care for now.

Belated thank you for the
connection to Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights. Growing up on Staten Island, Bay Ridge had the reputation of being a community as Italian American as Staten Island was. Heh, I can still remember my uncles moaning about "the bridge" going up allowing all the Brooklynites to invade our higher culture on SI. :-) My Uncles would comment on their neighbors being from Brooklyn and not understanding how SI Italians would not, for example, park in front of another person house or play music loud. The parking situation on the island was very ordered, but Brookklynites would not think twice about taking any parking spots they saw, and not respecting SI residential on-street parking lore :-)

It must be exciting to live in a home with history. I can only imagine the warm feeling.

It finally cooled off in Seattle today. It was in the 80's all last week. My apartment faces directly into the setting sun with no shade, so, after a week of complete sunshine, with sunsets later than 9pm, my place gets HOT, but I have one of those portable AC units so I'm not complaining. Its nothing compared to NYC heatwave.

Best to you EmilyAnn, and thank you for the sincere tokens, I appreciate it ~Mario

Your Inspiration is Fresh for me
Thank you Emily Ann for the fresh inspiration by way of the tokens you leave. Yours are always mindful and intelligent, and I thank you for the pleasant, positive feeling I get when I read them. I often think of certain ones through the day. I appreciate that "magic" especially because I originate from NYC and don't get many "sparklers and fireworks" during conversations here in Seattle :-)
