Make your own 50 year tombstone
I use this method. They have tested and for $5 a marker, it's something that hopefully a family member will find within the 50 years and replace with something more permanent, or at least a full survey be done including locations for future generations. Good luck! I've done about 15 so far over the past 3 years--it's gets easier as you get practice!

Unmarked graves
You might check with the local historical society or genealogy dept. and see if they can help with markers. Some have the ability to make and mark a small foot marker if the information is given to them. You usally have to place the stone.

East View photo requests
Hi, Eric! I was reviewing your photo requests for East View. I looked up the Kirbys on the East View web site and it says their graves are unmarked, so those may be difficult to find. They are in section 53 but it doesn't say where in that area. Also, Joyce Spencer is not in their database. If she is buried there, they do not have a record of her at this time.

Sandy Lyle
Inez J V Mote's father, W H MOTES
Hi Eric, I'm not related to the Motes family. I have lots of family that lived in Polk County and a few weeks ago tried to post WWI registrations from those people I could find on Find A Grave from Polk County. If W H Motes in buried at Pleasant Hope, he doesn't have a memorial on Find A Grave. If you make one, then I can link Inez to it. How about her mother? Do you know if she is buried at Pleasant Hope? I posted in the biography section on Inez's Find A Grave memorial the death indexes of both of her parents, but they did not list where the parents were buried. If you would like me to type the obit for you, I would be happy to help you with it. Sandy
