I'm about half way through, Rhonda and will finish sometime this evening. You're right, it has been too long between visits with some of the pages!

RE: Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm not having any problems, Rhonda. Thanks for your concern. I wish you and Gannon a happy Thanksgiving Day!

I've not been around much due to tendonitis. It limits my keyboarding. I'm getting over the flare-up, gradually.

My message seems to have dropped, as well. In case you do not see your PM, just a note that we will be glad to do it, Rhonda. It will be some time tomorrow and I will text you with details; please let me know of any specific names or notations. Tell Gannon to get well soon and that a special treat should be delivered Wednesday or Thursday. -J

Hello dear heart, I received your message and all is well on my end. Thanks for the heads up. Hope you and sweet Gannon are well and snuggling in for pleasant winter. Love the new photo of you and Gannon. I'm flat worn out we placed seven headstone this summer and traveled about 12,000 miles to do it. I'm getting to old for so much fun. Blessings to you and sweetie, you are in my prayers. Darlene

My husband (ex Army) and I visited the traveling Vietnam Memorial today in Tucson. To say it was emotional and heart wrenching would not give it justice. To see the faces of men, the memories etched like it was yesterday, was heartbreaking. I finally got the courage up to go and say something to one in particular. I tried to say thank you but began to cry and couldn't speak. He shook my hand and said thank you, with tears in his eyes as well. Being a findagrave volunteer I wondered if anyone had taken the time to put a virtual cemetery together. Thank you for the immense amount of time, hard work, and emotion you put into this project. I know you must have felt each of the losses as if they were someone you knew personally. I am grateful.

I wish you good health, peace, and love.

RE: John Cooper Hunt
Me Again

I have blended the two memorials and deleted mine. All your tokens are still there and John Cooper Hunt is now in the correct cemetery with his mum and grandparents.

I was particularly proud of that grave photo taken on a gorgeous Autumn day.

You may be interested to know that a 83 year old war veteran looks after the 52 war graves in this cemetery. He has been given an award for his dedication. There were flowers on nearly every grave I photographed

RE: John Cooper Hunt
That may explain why I cannot find where he died. Grangemouth is in Scotland and my research tool is really poor for Scotland. There was a RAF training base in Grangemouth where pilots were taught how to fly. there were many casualties and a couple of years ago a memorial was unveiled at the RAF base ( which is still there) dedicated to the memory of these soldiers. It looks as if John was killed on a training exercise.

I will see what I can do to update your memorial and if I can get it to show in the right place I will delete mine. leave it with me. I promise I won't delete yours!!!

There are 52 wargraves in Hyde Cemetery in Cheshire.
International Wargraves-he of a ‘million mistakes’- has placed them all in a different county many miles away in Suffolk!
His text is correct but his geography is not!

up to date info
Dear Rhonda,

I did some more of your October memorials...last 3-4 pages and ran into some problems that still lead me to believe the site is targeted.
1. Although I put tokens (I didn't go back in memorials to check if tokens were actually posted) on memorials having female names.
I noticed that the problems occurred mainly with male names. So, I plan to do those later.
2. Some of my tokens were 2-3 times.
3. Screens would show that had nothing to do with site.
4. Popup would appear.

Just to keep you up to date. I'm not giving up or intentionally doing.

Hello Rhonda and Gannon
I'm trying to get on board b4 my doctor's appt. in October.

Thank you for/in advance for posting the names I shared with you.

Did I miss something? I read a bio recently where a person felt they owned a cemetery because of their work on memorials. The person said he would not transfer ANY memorial and wanted to be the one who decided what photos (if any) are posted. I never read such a negative bio b4.

How are you and Gannon doing at this time?

Take Care, Sherry

Hi Rhonda
I'm so sorry I missed your Dad's Angel Day.

My sister passed away on the 4th from a long illness and my heart is so broken.

Don't know when I'll be back on Find A Grave.

Hope all is well with you and Gannon,

RE: Drake
Thank you so much for sending visitors, and for sponsoring Terry's memorial. Heartbreaking indeed. From what I could see from his pictures and from what his family & friends are saying, Hailey was the light of his life, and she sure loved her daddy. I'm glad that they are together again, at least. ♥

RE: Hi
Dear Rhonda, and Gannon,
Thank you so much for the visits to my loved ones. You are such a good friend.
I forgot to tell you about this book. This book is about the youngest owl, who is now all grown up and got her first job. I am using my job as an example and my friends from work are now characters in the book. I work at a fertilizer plant and the characters work at a soda company that makes different sodas for different types of birds.
Take care and God bless.
