|Beverly Colvin Smith||Wathen Family Genealogy|
Hello, my name is Beverly Colvin Smith, the granddaughter of Annie Matilda Wathen from Marion County, Kentucky. I have done an extensive research of the Wathen family. Your ancestor, Thomas Harden Wathen (1883-1955) is found in my work. I will be having my work printed into book form soon if you would be interested. I have spent the past 20+ years working on this and have collected more than 500 news articles, obituaries, etc., as well as 50+ photo's. I have spend many, many, hours at the Libraries in Marion and Washington County, Kentucky. My e-mail address is email@example.com, if you are interested.

|Beverly Colvin Smith||Wathen Genealogy|
My name is Beverly Colvin Smith, my grandmother was Annie Matilda Wathen Murphy. I live in Taylor County, Kentucky. Was born and raised in Marion County, Kentucky. I am working on the Wathen genealogy and would love to have some of your history to add. As a hobby I research and compile family genealogy books. The Wathen book being the eleventh book I have completed. I just ran into your name on Harriet Wathen's page on findagrave. Harriet Wathen (1846-1849) would be my 2nd cousin 2x removed. I would love to have some of the Illinois family obituaries. Please let me hear from you. Thanks

|Jessica Binkiewicz||Nathaniel Squire Gilmer|
I as wondering if you have any family history of William S Gilmer, Nathaniel's father, or his mother. I'm Nathaniel's 2nd great granddaughter. Mary, his youngest daughter from his first marriage is my great grandmother. I would absolutely love to get some info on her as well. It's nice to know someone in the family is as into family history as my mom and I are. No one knows much about Mary, as she was always a quiet person. I think the more we can get on her background, the more we can get to know her as well.

|Luella Hinrichsen||RE: Granville Roberts|
Was very happy when I found these two, they weren't listed, but just happened to see them! By them are little ones, Ida & Carlyle, are they their children? The others aren't listed either, so not sure if they just missed some or maybe no stones. Wm. Austin isn't by any other Roberts. I also found a Harry & Minnie together. Never walked the whole cemetery, although I criss crossed quite a bit of it from one end to the other! Luella isn't a name I see much, I don't know where my parents got it either. When I see a Luella on a stone I take it though! Luella

I know therewere alot of Magers, I will keep the connections I have--my info came from relatives, Thankyou
Added by Marie on Mar 27, 2013 6:20 PM
My understanding was all the Majors in Jackson Co were related...Aunt Bertha sent my mother a history of the Magers family--what become of it--I have no idea--wished I knew, have had to pick here and there for info and some I am told not correct--so haven't made an attempt to use the info--told me as memory not that good--sence they were families and connections in the Holton Geneology, I have used mostly from this. Thankyou Marie
