|Sherry Hester Patterson||William Louis Tompkins|
Thank you for your work recording gravesites.
You submitted William Louis Tompkins, buried at Belgreen Cemetery. William Louis Tompkins was my great-grandfather. His son William Strother Tompkins was my grandfather. Both are buried at Belgreen Cemetery. However, the death dates should be different. William Strother Tompkins died July 4, 1949. His father, William Louis died November 6, 1949. Both died the same year, just different months. Would you mind correcting this? The gravestone just gives the year and I know it is confusing.

|mike reeves||MSG Phinus Young Headstone Photo|
I appreciate the headstone photo you posted to the MSGT Phinus Young memorial of Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Franklin County. I had posted a photo of him in uniform with his wife, my grandaunt Marie, but was unaware that his family had seen fit to include his rank on the headstone as well. I am retired military myself, airborne & mechanized infantry mostly, and it was a fitting tribute to see again on this Veterans Day.

|Vicki Bullard||Allen Memorials|
Thanks for the additions you gave me on the two Allen memorials. I should have picked up on them myself since they were so obvious. Of course the son would have the same middle name since he is a Jr. Both edits were made. Thanks again. Vicki Bullard

|Hedy Butler||RE: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery/ Atwood|
Thanks for sharing. Sorry for delay in responding. I was undergoing chemo treatment at the time of your posting. Followed by the death of my husband in August. Should you learn of the burial place of James J. Atwood and wife Susan, please share that information with me. I believe the birth year will be about 1825. Again thank you for sharing.

|Bill Gunn||RE: Yocom|
You get back what you hand out.
You started this by saying:
"How is Yocom spelled? Your way or how it is spelled on the tombstone."
It is spelled YOCOM on the headstone, as I said.
And then you said:
"I see from your profile that you have some differences with other people in regard to the use of Yocum/Yocom. I just put down what is on
the tombstone, regardless of the correct or intended spelling. History has a way of working things out."
If you had checked, you would have seen that the other people had misspelled the name also. You absolutely DID NOT do what you say, "I just put down what is on the tombstone, regardless of the correct or intended spelling."
Yes, history works it out. You finally came around and changed them.
Unless you are superman, keep your threats to yourself.
Anytime you want to drive up to Tennessee and have a face to face, let me know.

|Bill Gunn||Yocom is spelled YOCOM|
I don't appreciate your misguided remarks.
If you would just take a second and look at your Yocums, you would see some of the stones say YOCOM.
It's amazing how many people preach the rules of Find a Grave and then misspell the name on a stone.
If you are incapable of reviewing your Yocums, you can transfer them to me and I will correct your mistakes.

|Stone✞Searcher||Henry Searcy - Grave Hill Cemetery, Alabama|
Memorial number 15912321 is using a photograph that you uploaded to # 40425144. Which is now a duplicate because she has updated her UNKNOWN BURIAL to the appropriate cemetery.
If that duplicate gets deleted, she gets to keep her copied version which is shrunk and not as good of quality.
It took several messages back and forth before she removed the photograph she copied from me. I prefer originals myself. I rarely even use copies of my own work. I'd rather snap a new photo.
I just wanted you to be aware, thanks for your time!

|Jonathan Phillips||RE: New Hope Cemetery|
Hi Sammy, I think my cousin, Randy Mink (now deceased), created the cemetery. Red Bay is the closest town to the cemetery so that's why it has Red Bay on the cemetery listing.

|LaDonna Estes||James R Spraggins|
You have James R Spraggins at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Alabama. James son Hiram is supposed to be buried there as well. Hiram died Oct 3 1945 in Santa Cruz CA and was sent back "home" to Alabama for burial. Do you know if there is a grave there for him. This is my great grandfather and my grandmother has NEVER known where he was buried. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
